I wanted to drop you a line and give you some feedback about "stock" wiring from our home builder. Our home builder used a company called "Home-pro" for the pre-wire of surround sound in our living room and media room. Our home package included a pre-wire from Home-pro for the media room and living room, with "jacks" completing the install for us to use them or another provider for the final install. When our house was built, you and you installers met us at our residence to go over the final install. The quote you gave us was exact and complete. The day your installers came to our residence to install all components, they found quite a few problems with the "stock" home pre-wire. Your installers showed me each "jack" that they removed from each wall location. Each "jack" was a standard wall plate with push connectors on the front to handle red/black speaker wire connections. Upon your installers removing each to install our new system, they found, and showed me that Home-pro had not even soldered there pre-wire to each "jack". Instead they had run the wires through the stem of the "jack" and just twisted the wires onto it instead of soldering it. Your installers fixed the problems with Home-Pro and had our system working correctly. I appreciate your installers going out of there way to verify the wiring, and not just hooking into it. Our system is beyond our expectations, and I thank you for your help..... more

The in-store experience was as expected, and I'm very happy. Lloyd was very low-key and didn't try to upsell me, giving me exactly what I was seeking. I'm happy with the price, and depending on how my budget looks, I'll probably come back and get a bigger one for the family room. We'll see. Thanks again for your support of the sports community. I've been in the TV business most of my adult life but my career has been in front of the camera, both local and network. In all those years, with the recognition and honors that are part of it, never have I understood the technology... how the pictures are sent through the air. And that's fine if you have someone trustworthy to take care of it. At the TV station, we have engineers. At home I have Starpower. A recent experience will give you a small example of why I am so loyal to your company. One morning, My 60 inch HD wouldn't turn on. I had recently purchased it from Starpower so it no doubt wasn't the set. Everything was dead. I immediately assumed it was a separate tuning component that was several years old so I called Starpower and asked if they could send one out with a service team. We agreed on a unit and a price and in a short time yer tech people arrived. One of them, a young man named Beau, walked in with the new tuner, made an adjustment on the cable box and everything instantly went on. Daniel, I was totally prepared to buy a new piece of equipment and have Beau install it with no questions asked. Instead, Beau chose to do the right thing on behalf of the customer. And, he even refused to charge me for the service call. I told my television audience about it the next day and have repeated it to many friends. Ron and Roy on your sales staff have been real professionals too. I just wanted to let you know that, as far as our family is concerned, the answer to the question, "Whatever happened to good old-fashioned personal service?" is and will be STARPOWER. Just wanted to tell you that I purchased a 60” Plasma TV from Star Power on Saturday and it was delivered and set up yesterday. Frank Arena was my salesman and he did a great job in helping me pick out my new TV . He was able to answer all my questions. I got a great TV for a great price and Frank was very helpful. The TV was delivered on time and the two gentlemen that delivered and setup the TV were very professional and helpful in answering all my questions. Overall I was very pleased and would recommend Star Power to anyone looking to purchase a new TV. Again Gambo you only recommend the best!!! more

He treated us with the utmost professionalism and most importantly, listened to what we wanted and translated that into what we needed. I received consistent, superior service from the North Dallas Starpower team. Im a person who greatly admires fine audio/video equipment, but knows little to nothing as to how to install, tweak or God-forbid, move it to another location. To date, Ive purchased from the Starpower Oaklawn store a 50 Sony plasma TV, a 42 LG plasma TV, a marvelous Bang & Olufsen stereo system and speakers, a whole-house audio system and too many other components to count or list. I love it all! The reason this technology works so well for me (a non-techie) is because Starpower has extraordinary associates who not only provide great consultation and installation, but also ensure that their clients can actually USE the equipment comfortably. Scott McDowell is one of those associates. My work schedule can be hectic, leaving me with little availability for daytime appointments at home. Scott was tremendously flexible and understanding, meeting me at whatever time works for me to consult on a new project. Starpower did a great job of visiting my home after the delivery of new equipment to ensure everything was installed perfectly, performs as it should, and that I know how to use the technology with ease. The Starpower team is professional, highly knowledgeable, gracious and thorough. Ive told numerous friends about Starpower and the excellent service I have received over the years. more

Mark, I am not sure your motivation on this posting, but you have your facts wrong. Starpower was involved with the builder from the very start as we worked directly with them on this room prior to it being built. I was actually in that room when there were no walls and we discussed expanding the theater space. The decision was made to make it a disco. You are correct, that the builder ultimately designed and built the disco room after our discussion. Nowhere does Starpower take credit for the finish out of the room. We do, however, take credit for integrating the room with the AMX touch panel, video switching for all 5 screens, high performance speakers and a/v receiver, the disco ball and smoke machine and the in floor subwoofers (that were installed under the floor on the side walls). The work is something we are proud of and shouldn't be libeled by those with questionable motivation. more

Your Employees, Adam Woodard and His partner Chris, Did a great job for us. They called prior to their arrival, and arrived a bit early exceeding expectations. The installation was a bit complex, and it was handled with competence and confidence, meeting the estimated time almost to the minute. They answered all questions capably and efficiently. We had great service from Starpower on Christmas Eve. I was very excited to hook up my new Xbox 360 to my new Starpower room, and when I started, I realized I did not know exactly how to do it. George, an associate at Starpower, took my call and walked me through it with research and options. He was patient and extremely skilled in providing direction regarding the technology. Great result during a busy time for everyone, and the family entertainment was saved! I will definitely be back! more
