What makes Star Hyundai is the people. As soon as you go in to the shop you notice that the people seem to care. The front desk to the service people in the back want you to know that your car maintenance and repair is important to them. I would not continue to bring my car to there if I did not trust the people at Star Hyundai. more

They could not find problem and refused to give us car unless we paid them for looking at it. They had no idea what was wrong with car, made no repairs or recommendations but still held car until we gave them money. TOTAL RIP-OFF PLACE. never go there, You have been warned. more

The staff at the Star Hyundai service center were wonderful. Maybe its the fact that I live in the Bronx and went to the City World and New Rochelle Service Centers and received horrible service. I experienced a terrible moldy smell coming from the AC. New Rochelle and City World were not able to help at all, even though I took the car in several times. I decided to give a place in Queens a shot, and luckily I ended up in STAR. The staff is amazing (everyone of them). They run the place with a family feel. Cruz, my service rep, immediately was able to diagnose my problem and resolved it. When I went back for routine maintenance, his recommendations were excellent. I definitely felt like he understood what it was like to be a Hyundai owner. I was very grateful. I hope that they continue to provide outstanding service. When I was there, Cruz kept saying that he was seeing so many familiar faces on that day - the reason is they do great business and that is what makes the customers coming back. Once again -- thank you and excellent work. Please keep it up. more

If giving them zero stars was an option, I would give them just that. All the guys are goofing off instead of working on the cars. I went in to get my rear crossmember replaced as per the recall on 2009 Sonatas, and they hadn't done the work and told me to leave the car there. What is so complicated with getting the work done, considering I dropped off my car early in the morning? The Hyundai website claims that the service should take no longer than 3 hours. When I got there in the afternoon, all the technicians were basically joking around and goofing off even though there was a good hour left to the working day. This service department likes to waste their customer's time. If you need your Hyundai serviced, go to a different dealer. more
