Awful customer service in the service Dept. I called to make an appointment for a 10k mile service for my 2013 Sequoia. I had to change the time of my appointment and when I called 10 minutes later, they didn't have any record of my original appointment. Fast forward to the day of my appointment. I arrive ON TIME for my 10:30 appointment and I'm told the service will take 11/2 hours (was told 1hour on the phone). After almost 2 hours pass, I find out my car hasn't even been touched yet! I'm livid and will NEVER come back here or recommend this dealership to anyone. Toyota - take note that when someone spends 60k on a new car and are treated like dirt when servicing said car, we will not be purchasing another Toyota. more

stadium Toyota 5/4/2014

On Feb. 27 I went to trade in a 08 Camry XLE, buy a new Camry & my last cars had a sunroof but I never used it. He started by showing me an L & LE After test driving, etc. I decided those cars didn’t have enough of the extras that my XLE had. So he showed me the SE because it had more things in it then the L and LE. I wanted a white & had to wait until the next day to get it. The next morning I signed all the papers & left with the new white SE (oh & without test driving the car. How stupid of me.) When I drove off, it felt different somehow but I figured new car, etc. But the more I drove it the more the issues got worse.. First of all the engine is very loud. I have to put the volume up on the radio, so I don’t have to hear the engine. The ride is so rough & I was getting a vibration from the gas pedal & it was making me feel sick. (I have motion sickness in a car, boat, etc.) I would get out of the car shacking because it makes me feel so ill. On 3/3/14 (car had 5 more

As you can see STAY AWAY from used car ""salesman"" TOM THOMAS, his associates and this dealer. Their Gold Check Certification is nothing but a lie as my car needed almost $3000 in repair after seven months of driving and just over 4000 miles. My PT Cruiser's front end suspension was found to be completely worn out after telling me it was okay such proven to be a lie by a Chrysler dealer.\r Then I found out that all tires and the battery were cracked, the radiator was completely plugged, rear hatch struts were shot, the fog lights did not work and much more. NEVER BUY A USED CAR from this Toyota dealer as this company and Toyota US will do nothing for you.\r Both customer service is the worst I ever experienced!!!!! more

Best dealer experience in Tampa 10/27/2011

Our family purchased a Toyota Rav4 today at Stadium Toyota. We had a great buying experience at Stadium Toyota. The entire staff was wonderful and professional. No pressure, no BS. They gave us a great deal on a 2011 Rav4. The transaction was so smooth and easy that I look forward to buying another car at Stadium Toyota. We worked with Cruz, Tim and John, A GREAT TEAM!!! more

False advertising. Very rude. 5/24/2008

Saw an add in the St Pete Times for a used car. Called to make sure that the car was still available and that the price was good. Went to dealer to test drive. Drove the car. Asked about the price again and also asked if there were any additional fees. They said ""Just tax, tag and title. No other fees"". We said give us an hour and we will call you back. Went home to discuss and called back within 30 minutes. Asked if the car was still available at that price. They said yes. We drove back with our check book to purchase car. We agreed once again on the price. I said to write it up. He (Tom Thomas) then goes into his manager and comes out saying that the price we had agreed on, and that is also in the paper is no longer good and that it has now gone up $800 and there is a Dealer fee of $499. We complained that he had agreed to the price but then he said that the paper must have made a mistake. I couldn't believe it. The the manager starts yelling at us saying ""Did you bring the paper with you?"" We said that we had the first time but had left it at home. I said I am happy to run next door and buy a paper if he will honor the price and he laughed us out of there. Saying no way would he honor the price.\r Cons: Liars, cheats and thieves more

Stadium Toyota of Tampa 3/30/2008

I couldn?t believe when I first heard about the offer. Cars under $10,000 dollars! Stadium Toyota of Tampa was offering used cars at such lower rates. I checked it out immediately. It didn?t take long for me to decide. My car was in full working condition and was maintained well. I had checked the dealership website for buying Parts and found that it has attractive deals for its online customers too. They are offering a fabulous $300 internet saving offer. Wow! It is too good to resist. more

Wrost Car Buying Experience ever!!! 3/29/2007

These guys are the worst. They were rude to my wife and me. I came in ready to buy a car and they acted like they were doing me a favor so we walked out. Do your self a favor and stay away from this place. There are much better places like Toyota of Tampa Bay etc. Bad Service. Guys constantly rolled their eyes, acted like the stereotypical car sales man. Never again will I step one foot in that place. more

Subpar dealership 6/18/2006

I'm usually picky about car dealers but I received a targeted mail promotion for a free gift card for a test drive so I took a stroll into this dealership. Sometimes I will "preview" a dealership to see if I would consider buying there, and this one totally dropped the ball. The sales reps were rude, I waited forever for someone to help me....and they weren't even busy! more

Unimpressive 11/2/2005

I was not pleased with my recent experience trying to get an oil change for my Corolla. Staff were not pleasant, there was a cramped and dirty waiting area, and I waited needlessly for an hour while no one notified me that my car was ready. more
