I know for a fact 3 of these reviews are from Kevin Harmann's trainers. (Emily B is Emily Bergmann one of the trainers). He told them to put a better review on this cite because of the bad reviews. Please do not join this gym. I witnessed him tell his staff to make better reviews. Kevin Harmann can not be trusted. If you would like go check out the gym for yourself and talk to him yourself. He will give you a sales pitch and try and twist your words to get him to buy from you. Yes, the price is amazing $10 a month WOW. But if you want to cancel your membership they will not let you. So you'll be paying them until well....until you see it on your bank statement over and over again. DO NOT TRUST THEM! All these review are correct. If you read Kevin Harmann's review he leaves out many of the unhappy customers that have been taken advantage. You are just wasting your time looking at this gym. There are so many better ones. I don't know how management can live with themselves knowing their professionalism is juvenile. The gym needs a new manager because the way this place is being run is a joke. There is hardly ever any customer service and if there is it's poor. They need to change the front desk person he's just mean and does not welcome people to the gym. I over heard him bad mouthing the members. How is this professional? It's NOT! Make changes or your business will suffer. more

The worst gym ever!! I have never felt so mistreated in my life. The management insults their member by using racial slurs. This lack of professionalism shows this business should not be in existence. They are not looking out for their members. They are care-less and selfish. They are just after your money. The facility is disgusting. There are insects down in the basement of the gym where I was on the ground doing crunches!!! The bathrooms are horrific. Please fix your gym or don't be in business. You make the fitness industry look bad. FOR YOUR FINANCIAL WELL BEING PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THIS GYM! THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND AND SCREW YOU OVER. more

Ive been a member of several gyms in the past and Im very fortunate that I ended up here! I was tired of being a member at your typical corporate gym so I decided to try out St. Louis Workout after a friend who is also a member suggested that I check it out. This is really a great neighborhood gym! I was greeted at the front desk by a friendly salesman who I believe is also a personal trainer, who showed me around the gym. There's so many different pieces of equiptment there! I noticed right away that it wasnt overcrowded which is a plus. I also met the manager who was also very nice and helpful. I absolutely love the atmosphere......great equiptment, a group fitness room and not to mention a pool and jacuzzi outside!!! I usually attend at least 3 group fitness classes each week- I love Zumba, Cycle X, Yoga and Body Works!! Ive been a member here for 6 months and have no intensions of cancelling my membership- I finally found a gym that's right for me! I highly recommend that you stop by. The staff is great and you have complete axcess to tons of equiptment! more

This is a message from the managing partner of the gym. I've read a lot of reviews on line about former members making negative comments about our club. The fact of the matter is that we have been in business for over 13 years in the Central West End and have had more than 25,000 members use our clubs over the past 13 years. As most people are aware, it is imposible to satisfy every customer that comes through our door, but I would say that we have done so 99.9% of the time. Typically people only take the time to write a review if they are displeased with service and many times it is carelessly exaggerated. It's unfortunate, but it's true. We also carry a rating of B+ with the BBB and that is pretty amazing given the amount of members we have serviced over the years. more
