If you are tired of worldly services and weak preaching, come to St. John's Reformed Church. The preacher is Spirit-filled and really knows how to teach the Word. The services start at 10 AM with an in-depth Bible Study and continue after a 15 minute break with praise and worship. The organ playing is beautiful, the people are friendly and the hymns are solid. The people are open to new ideas. Even though the main building was built in the late 1800's, it is well maintained, air conditioned and comfortable. Children are instructed in several classrooms during Bible Study, but are included in the main service at 11 AM. No one grabs your kids and rushes them away to some other part of the building during the main service. That way, they grow up in the congregation instead of away somewhere else. This is a growing congregation, yet small enough to keep from getting lost in the crowd. The pastor is personable and is not upset by fussy kids. In fact, each week, he has the children come forward and speaks with them. Some sit right with him as he relates something from the sermon for the day.
