I had my identity stolen and over 15K worth of money taken out with loans on cars, signature loans, etc. \r These bastards have the nerve to call me 36 times in two days demanding that I pay them money or they're going to send the cops to my place to have me arrested?? WTH?? They call up my wife's phone, telling her how pathetic I am and how much of a lowlife I am after missing one call from them..I answer a call from them today and the ""manager"" starts talking about my wife and how pathetic she sounded and how pathetic people must stick together!!!!! I have to file bankruptcy because of the identity theft and he's trying to squeeze more from me?? I have filed a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) because these stupid morons at SRL & Associates have violated my wifes rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) Chris Jeremiah and Benji have threatened harassed taunted and acted absolutley un-professional to both me and my wife. Chris went as far as to actually threaten my wifes manager at work! Because the manager told him to stop calling work? Jeremiah is supposedly the owner of the company (highly doubt it) and this idiot called Benji is the supervisor. If these thugs actually run the place??? it will ONLY go to show how rude cowardice and un-proffessional the actual reps are! Absolutley incredible. Simple absurd at the service these ppl provide. More like a faceless company with the right to make ones life miserable. But I""m putting a stop to that! I'm gonna sue these bastards. Rude, threatening, are all the right word to discribe this collection agency.The same women calls me a bare faced lies to me that ,Ionly have to pay them and the bill is $700.00 So, I called the hospital and the two ER bills are been redused to $300.00 and they tell me to pay them and there collection agency,west asset managment. So when she call put again I say leave me alone see next coommet tooI'm Paying the bill to the hosptial, She says you can you have to pay us only,the bill was for the hospital.So I hang up.Another time she calls she says oh ,you know there are 3 bills you have to Pay the hosptial ,the Dr. and the ER. what,do you take me for a fool.I'm not a stupid Person,I have a Masters in religion.I say you full of it don't call here a again,hang up the phone .she call back 4and 5 times in a row.I'm being harassed!and my Phone nummber is a no call number ,because it a business line.I want It to stop. I'm paying the bill and she threating me with a lawsuit. bit me I rent have no assets and am on unempolyment.I hope when she dies and see her life,she cries for years, for how she has treated hard working persons ,who are not lieing to her,and are paying there bill. her shistering ways will catch up to her. I am not even the one she is trying to collect from and it makes me sick to see how she treats people. Sad, really sad, there is no excuse for how these people act... Her name is Sharee or Cherie or something like that (sounds like Shu Ree, not sure how it's spelled). She is the most condescending, rude, and uneducated person I've dealt with as far as bill collectors. Not once have I had the opportunity to speak with her in person, yet the messages she leaves become more and more hostile and shrill every time. She doesn't even know if she has the right number, given the fact my voicemail only states my number, not my name, and yet she threatens, harasses and makes ""below the belt"" remarks on every message I've received. I would love to speak with someone there that could actually explain to me what I owe and to whom, instead of this woman who can only say things like ""I don't know what the problem is with you getting back to me!"" when in fact she DOES NOT know since she has never spoken with me or is even aware of my current circumstances! I am fed up with the harassing and threatening messages from her and am calling tomorrow to let them know all of this and that I would love to work with ANY (well, except Jeremiah I guess) person other than her on this situation. Well, Just had a very intellectual chat with a fella over at SRL & Associates by the name of Jeremiah. MOST of the bill collecto...rs I've dealt with in my life time have been quite pleasant, willing to work with you, accepting whatever offer you can make because hey...they want their money and you want them off your back right? Jeremiah on the other hand is one assinine ignorant SOB. He taunts, he harrasses, calls you names, makes fun of you, threatens you...I mean, WHO in the world would want to do business with a person like that? He is entertaining to say the least however, his attempt to throw his weight around is weakened by the fact that he is only a bill collector, with a miserable life no doubt. Having never met him, and by the way, would actually LOVE to meet him, I imagine he is short in stature, with less than manly qualities, else why be so beasty on the phone. Lack of manly attributes almost always is the reason why such bastards behave in the childish manner they do...professional? Not even close. SRL & Associates, if you truly want to do business, then deal with me utilizing one of your more professional AND educated individuals.
