Sprint Store

BUYER BEWARE!!! After being a Sprint loyal customer for over 10 years, my recent visits to this Sprint Corporate Store (1201 Lincoln rd) made me change service to other wireless provider. When I went to Sprint store in April 2013, I wanted to upgrade one of my basic phones to iPhone that was on my family Share Plan with a total of 5 lines. The sales person insured me that it will only cost $10 more, since basic phones on a family plan are $20 extra and smart phones are $30 extra. Instead they instantly separated my 5 lines family share plan into 4 lines family plan plus 1 line individual plan, which cost $133 + tax more than I was suppose to pay! Did they do it by mistake? If so, then why did they do the same thing at the same Miami Beach Sprint store (which was on 555 Washington Ave at that time) eleven months ago? The answer is simple – if your phone billing is set on automated payments, then many people do not notice the changes that Sprint store makes to their plan right away, while Sprint customer service will only agree to refund those charges for not more than 60 days unless customers get their attorneys involved. Same applies to phone insurance that they added to my plan when I told them not to. Not to mention that Sprint 3G internet barely works even at the Sprint store & most of Miami Beach, I am not even talking about remote areas. In addition to that, when I came back to the same store the next day to resolve the fraudulent changes to the plan that were made at that location twice in past 12 mo – Ahiman Alexander (store manager) told me that even Sprint loyal customers are not allowed to call Sprint customer service on a speakerphone from their store, just so other customers would not hear about the fraud that they do there. After spending hours on a phone with Sprint – came to conclusion that most likely they do the same in most of their stores in to increase company revenue. I am glad that other wireless provider gave me almost the same price as I paid for my Sprint phones and I no longer have to deal with Sprint again! more

Went to Sprint store at 1201 Lincoln Rd to purchase new iPhone 5, since for the past six months I experienced many internet connection problems on my iPhones 4S all over Miami Beach, not even talking about remote areas. The phones displayed at the store are connected to internal WiFi, however as soon as we changed it to Sprint 3G or whatever they call 4G – it took anywhere from one to a few minutes to load websites like CNN, Yahoo even inside of Sprint store.. After leaving the store, decided to use my new iPhone 5 to find closest Apple store while walking on Lincoln Rd, after walking two blocks the website finally loaded, however we approached the Apple store before store locator page could load, which is four blocks away. There were no tech problems with Apple site, since it took other Sprint iPhone 4S about the same time to load pages like ABCNews.com, etc. in a meanwhile. Apple reps examined and tested my iPhones and were absolutely shocked about the speed of internet that Sprint offers. Then I installed FREE SpeedTest.net application to my iPhones and walked all over Miami Beach tourist destinations: Lincoln Rd, Washington Ave, Ocean Dr, Collins Ave, etc. to test internet connection offered by Sprint. While Sprint data coverage maps show excellent 3G and 4G coverage everywhere in Miami Beach – only 5% of tests showed 1 to 1.4 mbps, more than 50% of tests showed under 0.6 mbps and 20% of the tests showed that no internet connection available, while neither of the tests showed above 1.4 mbps. Visited other cell phone service providers and tested internet speed on their non-Wi Fi cell phones, which showed over 20 mbps. Returned my new iPhone to Sprint store on a same day. Tested the speed the next day again on my 4S – same results! Called Sprint customer service to report the issue, was told that probably the tower is down then got transferred to Sprint tech support who checked the tower signal from their side and said that tower works just like it suppose to. Check your Sprint bill to see how much you paying for this type of data! But don’t just take my word for it, if you are Sprint customer – just upload free SpeedTest.net application or use any other free internet speed testing program to see for yourself! more

After recently moving here from Rhode Island ,I have been searching for wireless broadband everywhere, My credit isnt good & not bad either, I have been told by verizon and t-mobile 200-300 dollar deposits !! T-mobile wasnt even compatable with my program UBUNTU by Linux, Upon going to Miami beach to look for sandals and walking around I came to a Sprint Store on washington street, and within 2 minutes of speaking to LUISA B. [sales rep.] I knew i was in for a miracle. The most polite person, made things so simple, Right to the facts, anserwed all my questions without trying to sell me something i did not want, I was able to get a 3G motem with service for my laptop for 53.50 AND NO DEPOSIT !!! Clearly this Sprint wants to do buisness and THERE IS NO-ONE THAT CAN BEAT THAT DEAL, And thats not all ,, I have a mail-in rebate also., the service by Luisa B. was professional and kind,courtious, and caring what the customer wants, The service Provided by Sprint is Excellent like i say;;; and it works fine without any flaw, I am going back next week for a cell phone also THANK YOU LUISA AND THANK YOU SPRINT !!!! my name is Troy Pros: THE BEST;; THERE IS NO COMPARISON more
