UPDATED: did what they could with a bad situation. 7/10/2010

I ordered a Ruckus seat lowering kit around the 22nd or 23rd of June and was told it would arrive by the next Friday. When I called on the following Friday I was told ""Well, you didn't order the part til the 23rd (or whatever) and so it wouldn't be here yet."" When I called the following Tuesday I was treated even worse- ""I told you it wasn't here on Friday, UPS doesn't even deliver on Saturday!"" Blah, blah- I'm the dick, I guess. Now it is the NEXT Saturday and the part isn't in yet. No thanks, Sportique! I'm done with you!\r \r Update:\r Paul with Sportique Englewood has gone out of his way to try to repair our business relationship. He let me air my concerns and seemed to appreciate where I came from as a consumer. While I'm not 100% on these guys, I will give them another chance. Pros: close to home Cons: below grade customer service, ordering system doesn't work a more

The ONLY place to buy a new scooter 7/9/2010

So I walk in and I'm looking for scooter parts for my scoot and possibly a new scooter. They had every part I needed in stock, were familiar with my older model scooter and let me do test rides on all the models. Pros: Knowledgeable staff, get selection, highest quality products Cons: limited parking for cars. Buy a scoot! more

Terrific Customer Service 6/29/2010

I bought a scooter at Sportique a couple of years ago. Since then ,Colin and the guys at the Englewood store have always treated me right by taking care of my Buddy in a timely fashion and treating me with dignity and respect. They make sure that my scooter is running properly and safely. They are always willing to help me out when I need it. Good customer Service is the key. When you treat the customer right, they keep coming back. I know I will and I will refer others to Sportique as well. Sincerely, Jamie Barlow Pros: Considerate and respectful Cons: Unable to think of any. more

Best Scooter Shop in Colorado 6/23/2010

If you want a quality scooter from folks that actually know scooters, then Sportique is your place to shop!\r \r I've purchased two scooters from Sportique in the last eight years and have been satisifed with both of them, and the service that Sportique gives to both of them. Yeah, once I think, they reparied a scooter of mine that I needed to return because it still wasn't right - they took it right back in and got it sorted, no charge.\r \r Now, I will say that if you go in there and behave like you're some superior being and should be waited on hand and foot, you're in trouble. The staff at all the Sportique shops are there to help you find the right scooter for you and make sure your scooter is running properly. They're not there to bow and scrape to you.\r \r They will get you on the scooter that is right for you at a great price. You can go to another shop where they sell Chinese no-name scooters, but you'll soon discover that there's a reason they're so cheap - inferior metals, no service support, etc.\r \r But back to the point, you want an excellent scooter at a good price that is backed by a knowledgable and friendly staff? Then get on down to Sportique! Pros: KNOWLEDGEABLE staff, great range of QUALITY products more

Sportique stands behind the scooters they sell! 9/9/2009

I bought a used Malaguti from Sportique in the Highlands. The engine had been rebuilt, so I was not expecting to have any trouble with it. It ran great. Unfortunately almost three months later, it broke down. I took it to the Broadway location to have it looked at. Knowing that used scooters can have issues, I had no problem with paying to get it fixed. \r \r The guys in the shop realized that the problem was with how the engine had been rebuilt, so Colin promised that the work would be done free. They replaced the engine but it was accelerating slow and felt like a different scooter. They attempted to fix the problem and loaned me a scooter to ride in the meantime, which was great because I commute to work on it every day. \r \r Even with the loaner, I was getting impatient, and the problem was proving hard to fix. They sensed I was frustrated with the situation and offered to exchange my used scooter for a brand new Buddy! I love the new Buddy and I'm relieved that I will have a two-year warranty to fall back on in case anything happens. \r \r Thank you Colin and Josh for taking care of me, and standing behind the scooters you sell! Pros: Nice employees, high-quality selection more

Very poor customer service 4/5/2009

I had body work done on a Vespa starting in July of 2008, and not finished until February of 2009. I'm afraid I couldn't find anything good to say about their customer service, in fact it is probably the worst experience I have had with any retailer. Their lack of communication and quality work was baffling. Perhaps business is a little too good for them and they don't feel compelled to focus on the customer. 1. They did not live up to their time commitments 2. Did not keep me apprised of progress 3. Were clueless about what ""as new"" meant with regards to repair - repeatedly missed details about what was to be done, including not knowing the model of the Vespa and 5. Tried to charge me for $40 in parts that they failed to replace.6. It took 7 months to complete work that could have been done in 3 weeks. Pros: Unfortunately couldn't find any Cons: Service, communication, timeliness, price more
