Splitsville

I went to this place on a friday night to celebrate my birthday. later when more of my friends showed up they would not let them in because their paints were a little to baggy.... um its a freaking BOLWING ALLEY get over it! but yet i saw plenty of people that did not meet the ""attire requierments"" so we all got up and left and went and spent our $$$ somewhere else where everyone could hangout together. so they lost business from $20$ people because they would not let a few people in. bad move! \r and also the food is not that good. its typical bowling alley food....the bartender ashley in the back by the pool tabels was great and super sweet! and the music was so loud i couldnt even have a conversation. more

Me and some buddies went over to play some pool. The girl behind the table was extremely discourteous and was visibly annoyed when we asked if we could split up the tab and pay separately. Then, I went over and asked her how much time we had left before the first hour was up. She informed me that it is not their policy to tell customers what time they started. Employees who are impolite and policies like not telling someone when they started playing pool demonstrate very poor management skills. It is a nice atmosphere in there, I'll give it that. weve gone there a few times. it was really fun. most people are in their 20's-30's. no covercharge! its like a bowling alley turned into a giant club. the bathrooms are large enough to handle the crowd. theres a person in there at all times to give you papertowels when you wash your hands and they have all sorts of stuff for you like cigarettes etc. everyone dresses up in this place. for a nightclub bowling alley place its pretty cool. if your looking to dance there you will need to go off to the far right side when you walk in the entrance. We always have a great time at Splitsville. It doesn't matter if it is when my husband and I go (usually after a concert) or if we plan one of our kids' birthday parties there, we always seem to have a blast. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the new menu is amazing. We are big fans of Splitsville! Pros: Atmosphere and People Cons: The food is so good I never know what to get! more

What a disaster. Went there with a group of friends last week and the sevice was terrible. Bartenders were slow and not in the best of moods, and was not even that busy. We tipped the usual 20% which would have been more and received an annoying look of ""that's all."" Knowing that you can catch a place on an off night we went back. Let's just say this. We will never be back. It's a shame, they have the right idea but need some new smiling and happy faces. One thing I will say is the manager Chris tried his best to help and accomodate us but his staff dug way too deep of a hole. We will be visiting other establishments of Channleside in the future. Very good setup, Great food and good times. A bowling alley meets a night club.... The only problem is it is not cheap. By the time you eat, bowl and have a few drinks you have dropped over $150. Not like any bowling alley I am used to.... Overall it is fun and I give it a thumbs up. Pros: Night Club Atmosphere, Good Food, Good area Cons: , Only can bowl 2 games more
