I just received my camera and have a few questions. How were you able to complete the conversion so quickly. I was not expecting to see my camera for a few weeks but it was back to my home in Vermont within a week. Also, I was told by one of your prominent competitors that the black and white conversion on a Canon XSi would not give me a pure black and white images straight out of the camera. The images I shoot with this camera are pure black and white right from the camera without setting the camera to black and white mode. I'm very pleased with the results of the conversion service provided by you and your staff. more

My fourth IR camera from Spencer’s and, as usual, all is perfect! Crisp, clear focus with all of my lenses and no the IR flash modification work awesome. I can shoot indoor candid’s in IR using the IR flash and no one can see the flash.\r I highly recommend Spencer’s Camera for all your repair and infrared needs. more

I must say that Spencer’s Camera & Photo is one of the most honest companies I know. My credit card and personal information had been stolen and the thief placed an online order with Spencer’s Camera. Luckily Spencer’s staff was paying attention and red flagged the order as potentially fraudulent. They contacted my credit card company to inform them of the seemingly fraudulent transaction. My bank then contacted me to inform me of the transaction. All of this happened before I even knew there was a problem. Needless to say I was shocked to find out about the transaction and immediately cancelled my credit card. I then found out there had been over a dozen charges on my credit card in two days that were not authorized.Thanks to Spencer’s Camera for noticing the fraudulent nature of the transaction, spending the hour or more researching and following up on the issue, which then allowed me to start solving my identity theft problem. They didn’t have to spend the time and effort to track down my banks phone number and give them the information to investigate the fraud. Spencer’s Camera & Photo is great! more

I just received my 4th camera back from Spencer’s Camera for an IR conversion. This one needed some minor repair before the conversion. Spencer’s provided a discounted repair estimate because I was doing a conversion at the same time. Also, the conversion was discounted because I’m a repeat customer. The camera is very clean and works great. Nice job Clarence and Staff! more

The most exciting invention in digital photography since the advent of the digital sensor itself, is the ability to shoot high quality Infrared imaging on the fly. All I can say is I have used Spencer's Camera many time over the years and have found their service to be nothing less than wonderful! The owner and employees are all very nice personable people working very hard to keep their customers happy. You won't beat their service and pricing. Many times they have come in under the original repair estimate and faster than expected. I am a experienced professional photographer (32 years) and very picky. I expect the best from professional businesses and have had many runnins with local and out of state camera repair/service companies. I have never had a problem with Spencer's. My last experience with Spencer's saved me over $1000 rather than sending my Nikon D3s to the manufacturer. After finding Spencer's 10 years ago I won't use anyone else. Thanks for the great service! more

I just received my new IR camera and have spent the weekend shooting the new world of IR. I have two previously IR converted cameras from another company but always had focus and exposure problems. The Nikon D7000 I purchased from you is amazingly sharp and calibrated to perfection. It’s refreshing to get the results I always wanted and could never quite achieve. I have used Spencer's Camera & Photo for many IR conversions and a few Astroconversions totaling more than a dozen cameras. I have nothing but good to say concerning their workmanship and professionalism. I first found them after a bad experience with another conversion provider which left my camera non-functioning. I sent it to Spencer's Camera & Photo and had it back within a week perfectly repaired and working perfectly. Their pricing was very fair and the camera soon became my favorite IR camera. I have since used them many times often with discounts for being a return customer. They do not need to offer discounts but they do so to say thank you for the repeat business. more

I had a great experience with Spencer's Camera. I needed my camera before a trip for the holidays and they were able to provide my IR camera well before my trip, a 3 day turnaround. Everything performs and looks perfect. I had another camera converted by another well known company about 6 months ago (took them 3 months to complete) and they used a cheap plastic filter. Also,there was lots of dust in all images that even a local camera repair shop could not get clean. Also, it was very easily scratched when self cleaning the filter. Spencer's obviously installed a very hard and durable coated filter that I have tested to be very scratch resistant. Almost bullet proof. I had my local shop inspect their work and even they were very impressed. I use my camera everyday for my photography business and a solid camera is a most. I recommend Spencer's over all other companies. You won't regret it. more
