Spectrum Business

Time Warner doesn't need my business. I've called 5 times today and visited the main location downtown Charlotte. I was promised a deal from one guy, I call back to add another box and get person number 2 who tells me that my bill would be 30% more - I tell him to pound sand and cancel the installation. I call back (glutton for punishment) thinking that I got hold of a bad apple get partonizing apologies and promises to straighten in out. Eventually I get transferred to a voicemail that is full after specific instructions on what to leave on the voicemail. I go dowtown to the main office and try to get new service - this fudge packer gives me a paper with a phone number for customer retention - it doesn't work... I call back again, this time the main number and get put on hold for 30 mins... (I am not making this stuff up) They come back on the line and say to call back during business hours... (This process was started be my at 8AM) Meanwhile DTV is calling offering me $220 to stay and a sweet deal. Time Warner doesn't need your business.. Doesn't want to spend time to seek solutions for you... ""Would you mind holding,"" is their mantra and getting transferred from person to person who refuses to take care of you. I WASTED A WHOLE DAY TRYING TO SPEND MONEY WITH THESE GUYS!!! I'll call DTV tomorrow and take them up on the $220 credit and sweet customer retention package they are offering. Must be nice to not need the business in today's economy! If you are with them you are a SUCKER. more

Time Warner should be investigated for breaking the truth-in-advertising laws. In their ads they say they are better than satellite because when a storm comes up you do no lose your reception. The last two storms in our area our service has gone out FOR DAYS. And, since we have internet telephony, internet, and TV, we lose it ALL. And, do you think we get a credit on our bill for the lack of service? No. And, they constantly advertise low-ball rates to entice new customers, but they will never extend a better rate to loyal customers who have been with them for years. more

Cable and internet service are good quality and generally dependable. Customer service really stinks. It's very hard to speak to a person when you have technical difficulties or need to ask a billing question. more

Like most big companies, Time Warner has lost any real concern for customer satisfaction. They know they have a captive customer who has very limited choices. Every time I have ever called I get the same message. ""We are experiencing higher than normal call volume"". Yeh right, they are experiencing the same volume of highly unsatisfied customers. This is a company where there is no accountability, because you can never speak to the same person twice, and nobody knows who you spoke to last time. Just another case of corporate america running by the numbers and the numbers say they will have customers whether they are satisfied or not. Too few choices in this industy what a racket. Pros: you can call and get no response 24 hours a day Cons: you can call and get no response 24 hours a day more
