Spas By Renee

Well, it's been about a month since Spas by Renee installed our new Hot Tub.\r I can not say enough about the product, the salesman, the installer and the customer service. Yes, I have seen some negative reviews about them online. Either these people have an attitude, or are other retailers trying to make Renee look bad. Even the owner showed up for the install !! Remember, in this world you get what you pay for. Sure, you'll find cheaper brands or cheaper dealers, but if quality is what you are looking for, look no further. If I had to buy another one, it would only be from them. more

In January 2010, I bought a spa from Spas by Renee and found their customer service to be excellent. Renee suggested a spa for me that was just perfect for my small patio. Any questions or concerns I had about maintenance, chemicals, cleaning the filter, etc. were promptly addressed by Renee and/or her staff. \r Some kids broke into my backyard and vandalized the spa. Spas by Renee assisted me with replacing the spa cover attachments inexpensively and collaborated with me to come up with a system to keep it from happening again. I simply bought some inexpensive chain and a small padlock and it has served as an excellent deterrent.\r Renee even assisted me in selecting and purchasing a small above ground pool for my backyard, I wanted to buy one from her but she doesn’t carry them. Even so, she spent time helping me and made suggestions regarding the upkeep for the pool. \r Every time I take a soak in my spa after a stressful day, my troubles seem to melt away and I feel grateful that I made the decision to purchase what I believe to be a luxury item. I have found Spas by Renee to be extremely knowledgeable, honest, reliable, and I as I tend to be frugal, I shopped around and found that Renee gave me the best bargain. I have recommended her to my friends who were interested in purchasing a spa. \r more

Long story short, (this review is like most of the others on here but since I am taking time out of my life to write it, you know it's important that more people know about these incompetent, unprofessional people): First they quoted me a price for a repair on a spa and then when the work was done, the final price was over $100 than the quote. The part was ""reconditioned"" but never worked. It was the power pack. They came out three or four times saying the power pack works but magically in a few days the water was cold again and we couldn't ever get it working. Then when we refused to pay them before the thing was fixed properly, they came into our backyard without any request or notice and instead of ""uninstalling"" the part, they quickly cut off all the wires (leaving us with no connectors) and basically stole the part back. Yes. They trespassed and burglarized our spa! They actually got mad at me the third time I called to tell them the thing didn't work and told me, ""You don't know how to use it."" Well, I never touched the controls so there goes that idea. All I did was feel the water and it was cold. Not only are they incompetent but they also don't take responsibility for their mistakes. My husband and I purchased our Hot Springs spa from Spas by Renee, and were absolutely pleased with our experience. It was nice to purchase our spa from a dealer that actually knew the ""in's"" and ""out's"" of their product. The staff also acknowledged our big investment, and were courteous to all of our questions and concerns. More than pleased with Spas by Renee and recommend them to all of our friends. Well I can't agree with the other reviews since my experience was great. My family bought a spa from Renee almost 15 years ago (which they still have and use) and they highly recommended I go to her. I shopped around to other stores in town and found the usual pitch from sales people saying how they were the only good spa out there. Spas by Renee knew it was a big purchase and was very patient with my back and forth approach. Renee was so helpful with any questions I had. Really made my wife and I feel like top priority even now 7 months after buying, They are confident in their product and since they have been selling Hot Spring for almost 30 years, I had total confidence in my purchase. If any business can last 30 years in Las Vegas must be doing something right. Don't listen to the bad reviews, go in for yourself and you'll see how great and personal your experience will be. Very poor customer service and they sell bad products. Within 3 months of purchasing my spa, I have had the technician out to service my spa 7 times. Staff will not listen to you when you call and describe the problem you are experiencing. Their solution is to let the ""spa cool off or clean the filter"". My suggestion is keep driving past this store and find someone else to buy your spa from. You will save yourself grief and frustration. Very poor customer service. The salesman who sold the ozonator for the spa said it will last the life of the spa and if I have problems to just call and they'll take care of it. Well 2 years later, ozonator stopped working, so I called service department. they just told me to clean the filters. They said it so rudely too. Their prices are unreasonably high, and their people are rude and very slow when it comes to delivering. They don't deliver as they have promised. more

We shopped just about every spa store in Las Vegas. Each store had high pressure salesman EXCEPT Michelle at the Spas By Renee on Rainbow. She was very informative as well as sincerely interested in helping us find the spa that fit our needs. Having experienced the other end of the spectrum we almost threw in the towel. ;) We purchased an Envoy and LOVE IT! Everything went smoothly from purchase to delivery. Truly a pleasure. (not the case at the eastside store- high pressure + higher price!!! I HIGHLY recommend this particular Spas By Renee. more
