Terrible customer service 2/13/2013

Shipping error caused my strings to be sent back. I needed them for a very important audition and they wouldn't expedite the shipping to make sure I got them. They had an opportunity to make the customer their priority but instead said that they lost out on shipping money and is sending it the slowest and cheapest they have available. So, needless to say I won't be ordering from them ever again. I hope my audition at the nations number 4 music school goes well more

I purchased an amazing violin and case at Southwest Strings! I applied for the approval program and tried out two different violins and made my decision. All through the process, I experienced great customer service with Janine, Joaquin, Mindy and the owner. I love the sound and quality of my new violin and the case is pretty awesome too :) would definitely buy from them again, great experience overall. more

Best place for violin books 6/5/2009

Southwest Strings is the least expensive way to buy the Suzuki Violin book AND CD set, only $12.95. They also are a rare place that has all of the 'study' type books that our teacher wants us to use. I find out what we'll use for the following year and order at least 3 books together, or strings also, to make up for the shipping (which is no worse than most places anyway). Their prices and availability of the strings our teacher recommends are also great. The search engine is quite smart and helps me find what I want, overall it is a very user friendly site. I have only ordered online, have had no troubles, and always receive product in less than a week. I highly recommend Southwest Strings! more

this music center offers many string instruments and repair parts but i think they are more expensive than other places. they do have quality instruments and other musical items though. the staff there is helpful and nice. They offer guarentees on some of their items so if it breaks they repair it for you, sometimes at no charge. more
