I was looking for a pediatrician prior to giving birth to my now 15 month old daughter. From the first phone call, I have been impressed with this office. They listen and answer...

We have been taking my 3yr old daughter to this pediatrician since she was 6mths old. They took great care of my daughter. We had not had any major problems, besides their attitud...

Care about KIDS NO... Money YES 10/13/2011

These people are terrible and very impersonal. Each time I went I knew the pediatrician less and less. The last time I took my daughter to them I owed them 100$ or less. They would not see my daughter again because I couldn't pay them at the time. The main pediatrician told the front secretary to not let us through. The previous visit I gave them 300$+. I dont understand the cold shoulder from this office. more

Horrible Customer Service 9/1/2011

Although the I absolutely loved the doctors in that office, it still is not worth dealing with the office staff anf it's proceedures! Anytime I wanted to make an appointment for my child the next day (or anything except vaccines which I had to schedule 6+months in advance to get the appropriate spot) I had to call the morning of to see if they had an availability! The wait times were always long, even if they got me into a room quickly, and with an infant/toddler that doesn't go over very well. The office stadd screwed up and sent paperwork to a copying company, which then charged me 35$ for copies which I had gotten diretly from the office for a 15$ charge, and then when I called about it the woman on the phone proceeded to argue with me and tell me that I DID NOT GET COPIES FROM THEM! She was so rude I asked for a manager and then finally managed to speak with someone who knew what I was talking about and that they had screwed up. They then said they had solved the problem and called the copying company. A month later I received another bill stating the copying fee was past due. I then had to call again and go through everything again...... as of today I am still trying to resolve their screw up. NEVER TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE UNLESS ABSOLUTLY NECCESARY!!! The only reason they got 1 star is because it wouldn't let me put 0 stars!! more

Office shows no grace for late arrivals 5/2/2011

We have been going to SIP for 11 years. We moved to Louisville and still drove all the way to Jeffersonville so that all 3 of my children could have the same doctors. Recently we were late for an appointment and they refused to see us. They said we had to reschedule. I understand their late policy, but really? We rushed to get there on time, leaving school early and driving from Louisville. We have put up with the long wait time on the telephone, mistakes on prescriptions, and leaving off important info on prescription refills. Yes their staff is obviously overwhelmed, but this time even the doctors didn't care who I was or why I was late. They still refused to see us. more

I agree with Julia 123n 11/1/2009

Like Julia123n Dr. gulley was at the hospital taking care of my child when she was born and My daughter loves him. We made her 1 yr appt during her 9 month check up and guess what they had to schedule out 5 months making her 1 yr appt at the time she was 14 months. This just blows my mind that they are that swamped when they have 5 dr.s in that office. Pros: Dr. Gulley is a great doctor Cons: Other dr.'s and staff are horrible when it comes to service more

Great Doctors but apparently overwhelmed in the office 9/29/2009

First let me say, I am very patient when it comes to answering phones and service... I am in customer service and I understand the ways of the office.\r \r Unfortunately, I just transferred to a new pediatrician today after 4 years. I always loved Dr Gulley, he was even at the hospital as soon as my son was born. He was very nice, quick to diagnose my son with a kidney defect before his kidneys were damaged, and my son loved him! Unfortunately the office staff is lacking and it seems they are too overwhelmed to handle patients properly. You can't seem to get a live person on the phone to schedule an appointment, and that's if you can ever get passed the busy signal when calling. I am getting the impression the office staff takes the phones off the hook when they are busy. I called for my son's 4 year old well check up and they told me they could squeeze us in about 4 months....Really? Thanks for making sure my kids gets his vaccinations on time.\r A flu vaccination?...That will only take about 5 weeks since he doesn't need the see the Dr for that... Yeah, well.. my new pediatrician's office is much better and they always answer the phone when I call.\r \r \r \r Pros: Dr Gulley is very thorough and nice, I hate to lose him. Cons: I can't seem to get prompt or timely service in the office more
