Don't elect for Saturday afternoon service the technicians on duty are not even attentive enough to tighten the oil pan drain plug allowing for oil to leak and create two driveway...

Brenda & Chris are really great to work with. They both give timely advice regarding what needs to be done for your car, and when. Check all mechanical work performed to see if any tools have been left behind. Other than that, their service is good. more

First Service on 2015 Genesis 4/16/2015

Immediately met by the service adviser who not only got the process started quickly but also found a factory recall which she added to my service that day. She kept me informed of progress and had the car done in less than an hour, including the recall. GREAT service!! more

Have never been to any dealership that takes good care of you like Hall Hyundai of Newport News. Always treat like we are family. Try 100% to meet our needs and schedule. We had a Grand Daughters Birthday dinner to attend in the afternoon. I requested a certain (no later than) time that we needed to pick up the car. They called and had us on the road with plenty of time to spare. It's that kind of friendship and great service that keeps me coming back again and again. Customer Interaction 4/9/2015

Usually my visit to the dealership have been very pleasant and inviting. But my last visit I can't honestly say either. Upon arrival and waiting my turn, I was greeted by the customer service person with "I'll be with you in a moment", which turned into "moments". Secondly, I was able to give her my name and that I was scheduled for an oil change and before I could say anything else, I was interrupted and ask where my car was parked, ask for my keys and the person proceeded to go and get my car, without giving me the chance to say that I had other concerns. It was clear that she was abrupt in her service, yet I observed a more gentle interaction with a previous customer who approach her at the same time that I was ask to wait and she interacted with this customer in a very different tone. After I tried to make light of her abruptness by asking her had she been very busy and yet her answer was still short and abrupt. Sorry that my encounter wasn't as pleasant as it has been in the pass. Customer service interactions are very important. more

Love this service department! They are very thorough in their inspections and service and explain in detail what needs to be done and why. With all of this they do not pressure you to get services done, they advise. Since I have a handy husband who does a lot of the services, I appreciate the service departments inspections when I bring my car in for oil changes and inspections. My 2006 Sonata (with over 160,000 miles) has had all major service done with this dealership and I will continue to use them. Kudos to Chris!!!!! more
