WORST customer service!! When we got there, we walked up and one of the employee's blocked our entrance and didn't inform us of how to rent a scooter. We rented them in the evening on a family vacation. They misled my ENTIRE family on prices, closing times, etc. The woman on the lot misinformed our family on rental rates. They called us at 6:11 pm to inform us they closed at 6. Completely ruined our vacation when they called us at dinner and told us this information, and DIDN'T inform us we could keep them overnight. Overcharged us for gas, refused to provide the customer with a rental agreement (which, as a contract signer we are entitled to receive, by the way), and blamed our family for their misinformation.\r \r Long story short, they blame the customer for their mistakes, and got in a huge argument with our family. If I could, I wouldn't even give them one star. What ever happened to the customer is always right???!!!! more

They sold me a scooter. pete was my sales person he was really helpful. He told me straight out if he thought a bike was junk and what ones were good. I love my new scooter THANKS!!\r \r Also thanks Chad for teaching me how to ride. I haven't crashed yet. more

The service I recently received from Solano Cycles of St. Augustine was nothing short of superb, and earns my highest recommendation. Much of the credit for that goes to their exceptionally thoughtful and efficient service manager, Kyle, ably supported by an excellent resident mechanic and by attentive staff.\r \r Last month, I bought a lightly used Hyosung GV650 motorcycle on Craigslist. This comparatively rare machine arrived with a faulty handlebar switch assembly and the forward controls set up for a taller rider. Fixing both required dealer-supplied parts, and some insight into the bike, neither of which are easy to find since Hyosung distributors are few and far between. I took the bike to Solano's in St. Augustine on the off-chance they might be able to help with a Hyosung motorcycle since at one time they carried Hyosung scooters.\r \r Although I had not purchased the bike from them, and despite their not carrying this larger model in their regular inventory of scooters and mope more

This complaint relates to the St. Augustine store. I wish I had seen the other reviews before I brought my scooter here for service. First time I brought it in because it did not electric start (would crank but not start) and kept fouling the plug after several starts using kick start. However, once started the scooter ran ok. They told me all it needed was a carburetor adjustment. Upon getting it back it stalled on the initial way home would not start at all, electric or kick. Took it back and now was told it needed a new carburetor. I sent the old carburetor to the shop I bought the scooter from in NC and was told there was nothing the matter with it. They did send a new carburetor to Solano cycle which they installed. Upon getting the scooter back the second time, it started leaking gas from the carburetor and still would not electric start. Took it back a 3rd time. After being in there over 6 weeks with nothing getting done, I finally went there and got it back. During t more
