Both Nicole, & Briana were very nice to us, & was straight up with us. They didn't say one thing & do another! They did what they said they would do! They were very intelligent about everything & the laws. Both great at their profession! Good job. Thank you both very much for all you did for us. The secretaries @ front desk, very nice & helpful! BUYER BEWARE!!! My mother hired Smith Montgomery and Associates. They were very difficult to work with, two years after her bankruptcy is settled her home still shows in her name, she is still getting bills from the mortgage company for it. When contacting Niki Greeson to inquire about this, she was informed that if she wanted any questions about her bankruptcy answered she would have to be billed again. WOW! she was already charged for filing chapter 13, then after that was paid they switched her to a chapter 7 and charged a very high fee for switching. This firm has been a total nightmare and are very unwilling to help with questions. Please go somewhere else. more

Nikki Greeson and Brittany Forell, from Smith, Montgomery, & Assoc were both understanding and helped me every step of the way. I had tons of questions and they responded quickly. I was nervous and they reassured me not to worry. When everything came to a close, I was so glad my attorneys led me every step of the way. more

Be Careful 5/1/2010

I filed Bankruptcy Last year in 2009 of June. All of my debt was unsecured so I had to file for a chapter 7. I was told that the Trustee couldn't ask for anything after the date of filing my bankruptcy with the court. WRONG The trustee asked for a bank statement that was after my filing date I asked why he needed it and they couldn't answer me. Also the trustee ended up take over half of my 2009 tax return I was also not told he could take my taxes that I get back. I am a single parent taking care of 2 kids by my self with no help for the mom or the state and He took my tax return.That is what I live on So if you are thinking about Bankruptcy remember to ask about this or you will get screwed like I did. Also, It has almost been a year since I filed and I am just now getting everything straightened out not what I was told when I went in. I wouldn't be so mad but the debt I filed on I wasn't paying at the time anyhow so I didn't get any relief losing any monthly bills... Now I am going to have to struggle the rest of the year because I was never told about ppl taking my taxes I wasn't a couple of hundred dollars either I am having to pay the trustee almost 5,000 dollars from my tax return. So watch out and be careful. Pros: N/A Cons: Not being told everything up front. more
