Always greeted with warmth and smiles. From the front office to Dr Becker! I ve been a patient for many years and I appreciate the quality of care, professional service and wonderful feeling I get every time at Dr Becker s office. Always treated with kindness and respect!!! more

First, my caveat - I have only had cleanings, and one whitening, from Dr. Becker. I attribute not needing other dental services partly due to his exceptional care, and partly due to genes (of course). I have been a patient of Dr. Becker for many years now. After taking a 10-year hiatus from dental visits, I selected Dr. Becker, and never regretted that decision. What I Like: I never have to wait more than a couple of minutes for my appointment. The hygienists are very skilled (i.e., gentle and thorough) and friendly. The admin staff are very professional and courteous. Dr. Becker recommends exams, such as x-rays and periodontal measurements, as required, but never "pushes" them, which I appreciate, because I tend to minimize exposure to x-rays. What I Don't Like: N/A. I have zero complaints, and highly recommend Dr. Becker. more

I'm sure I am like most and don't always look forward to the dentist. Dr. Becker, Cristal, Renee and Brittany I've gotten the chance to meet. They have all been kind and accommodating. Dr. Becker and staff always give you a heads up, are prompt and make it a quick and pleasurable experience. They have my full vote of confidence and have found my long term dentist. more

In my life, I've seen my share of dentists. I can't say enough about this dental practice. My only regret is that I didn't find them sooner! First of all, when you walk in, there is coffee and water waiting for you. Providing a balance of a professional office atmosphere along with a comfortable, home-like setting, I always feel welcomed. Dr. Becker and his staff are so professional and friendly. They really do care about a patient's comfort and respond accordingly to your needs. And I can't say enough about efficiency and precision! The use of technology to take x-rays, as well as the latest equipment to take impressions really help to speed up the process and ensure accuracy. Dr. Becker is also extremely proactive, checking for any problems within the tooth, such as hairline fractures which might lead to later breakage. With my last dentist, I had a tooth break and I think it is because they didn't take dental precautions and check carefully. The front office staff will go the extra mile with the insurance company, or see to it that there is a plan in place to make payments when insurance is not accepted. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a caring and competent dentist. more

I'm a new resident to the MD area. I saw this office had good reviews and I needed a cracked tooth fixed. So glad I chose this location. All staff were very friendly and welcoming but most important-competent!I now have a temporary crown (done by Dr Ford) and I am very pleased with her work. Dr Ford is very skilled and great at explaining treatment options. I didn't know anyone and yet I truly felt right at home. I was also able to get my teeth cleaned which gets me back on track and ready for the final crown fitting. Thanks to everyone at Smiles-by-Becker! more

I needed a root canal on a tooth all the way in the back. The last tooth. I wanted to get the tooth pulled. The dentist convinced me to have the root canal...only so that they could get paid ALOT of money. Even though I told them I did not have the finances they assured me things would be fine. Well, they were not. They failed to tell me that my insurance maxed out therefore oweing them $1000. Before I could even get the final crown put on they wanted $300 up front. They refused to work with me to make payments and agreed on $200 up front to get the crown put on. This is the biggest SCAMMING dentist office I have ever encountered. The receptionist is RUDE and uncooperative. Needless to say I will NEVER be going back. RESPONSE FROM Smiles by Becker: We pride ourselves on providing exceptional dentistry and gentle patient care. When it is determined that a patient needs treatment they are presented with the options along with a treatment plan including fees. We are happy to submit claims to insurance on a patient's behalf, however, we can only estimate insurance coverage based upon the information provided to us by the patient. It is made clear that insurance is a contract between the patient and the insurance company, and the patient is responsible for payment for services rendered. Although it is office policy that patients pay their estimated copay at the time of service, we often offer payment plans to help with larger treatment plans. This case was no different. Treatment options and fees were discussed and explained, and various payment plans were offered which the patient chose not to accept. more

We have been patients at this practice for thirty years. Nobody is perfect but the quality of dental care is comprehensive and above reproach. The hygenists seem to turn over (and there are always several on staff) so that part can be variable but I've always had a positive and professional experience. Over the years, between our four family members we've experienced many standard procedures - but NO ROOT CANALS (likely due to the good care we've historically had.) We have found them to be caring and competent over the years. more

I was initially hesitant to try Invisalign, and the price seemed steep.I retrospect, however, this is perhaps the best investment I have ever made. Dr. Ford is exceptionally well qualified, committed, and works very patiently even with a difficult detail-oriented client like myself. The results are impressive, and the amount of work that Dr. Ford invested into me is well worth the cost. I highly recommend Invisalign with Dr. Ford. more

I had to come to in to get a filling. When I arrived, I informed Dr. Becker that I had another doctor's appointment across town in one hour. He let me know that he would have me out in plenty of time. In 20 minutes, I had my filling done and I was out the door. I will continue to use Dr. Becker for as long as I live in Maryland. more

I've had to get a bit of dental work done (fillings, wisdom teeth pulled, etc) and have always dreaded going to the dentist. These guys a gentle, friendly, and most importantly, highly skilled. I recommend them wholeheartedly. more

Lets face it, no one likes going to the dentist! However, my experience with Dr. Ford was wonderful. I came to the practice as the result of a dental emergency. From my initial phone call for help I was treated with care, professionalism and every accommodation was made to assist me. The office staff was incredible providing excellent customer services and thanks to Dr. Ford, Im smiling again. I refer all of my friends and family to this practice. Theyre truly the best! more

My husband and I have been Dr. Becker's patients since 1984 (?) and my college children have been patients since their first dental visit. We have only ever known competent and committed professionals offering quality care, in a beautiful well-appointed and well-equipped environment. I wish others could see our happy smiles and know how satisfied we have been, for over 25 years!, with the dental services we have received from Dr. Becker. Bondings, crowns, fillings, cleanings, caps - between the four of us we've done them all and the end results are beautiful. Having struggled through many dentists in the past, I was truly blessed by finding "Smiles by Becker." I am not an easy patient, because I am a perfectionist and I pay great attention to small details. I have been with Dr. Becker for five years now, and in the past year also worked with Dr. Ford on my Invisalign. My experiences with them have been wonderful. Both doctors are exceptionally skilled, attentive to the needs of their patients, careful, detail-oriented, and very clear about what has to be done and what options are available. My teeth look great, better than they ever did, and I am often complimented by others who note the great improvement in my smile. Both doctors are really miracle workers.
