I have been eating Smalles for 50 years and can't get enough. My mom used to bringsoft one's home from the arcade. I visit the bakery on Xenia at least twice a month!

Smales Pretzel's Are Amazing!! 7/24/2009

These are the best hard pretzels EVER made... and their soft pretzels are amazing too! I used to go to Arrow Wine JUST to buy a box of Smales hard pretzels... but lately they haven't had them! I wish there was a website we could go to for Smales and order them to be delivered! If you haven't tried one... you're missing out! more

THE BEST PRETZELS 11/7/2008

I grew up in Dayton and now live in Central PA. - the capital of snack food. Folks around here claim to have the best pretzels but they have no idea! Smales are unique and wonderful - especially the salty 'burned' ones! Yum more

Terrific Pretzels 9/1/2006

I have been eating these pretzels for over 20 years now, they are the best soft pretzels I have ever tasted. Their hard pretzels are pretty good too. The nice thing about Smales is that pretzels are the only thing that they make and they have perfected their product. more

good memories from the 70's 8/18/2006

When my brother and sisters and I were little (ages 6-12), back in the late 60's, early 70's - our mother would take us to Smale's and we would pick up paper grocery bags full of pretzels and take them to the shopping center on Linden Ave. where my mom would drop us off to sell them!!!! We had a blast, but can you imagine today being dropped off to do such a thing? Those are some of my best memories of growing up in Dayton. Anne I. more

We now live in Florida after growing up in Dayton, Ohio. We miss our pretzels! We love them and cannot find anything like them in Florida. We always appreciate it when family and friends bring us Smales Pretzels. more
