You don't have to eat here.. But yes, the food aint bad as well. Still - the beer, the people and the show is the reason why people love this place... Pros: nice atmosphere ...

Sloppy Joes 1/29/2007

For great entertainment and the premier "straight bar" stop by Sloppy Joes. We actually stopped there twice during our day in Key West. The best time to stop was in the evening when they have their entertainment. One of the regular warm up acts are 2 guys who are definetly not politically correct. Make sure you listen as they describe all the other bars in the area. There is three entertainment/bar areas to find something for everyone. more

Sloppy Joe's bar is a famous bar in Key West, Florida. This bar is a blast. Located on the corner of Greene and Duval since 1937, this bar has history. Ernest Hemingway used to frequent the bar. Sloppy Joe's has excellent food during the day; try the pound of shrimp or conch fritters. It also has great drinks all day and night long. They have a great stage where all sorts of live talent takes over to create the ultimate party. You will have a fantastic time at this bar. more
