I Just moved to Davis square and I was asking my friends and co-workers for a place to get my hair removel and facial done and came to realize that everybody goes to Pricilla at skin and body works so I decided to go. more

this is the best wax and facial I ever got.Priscila is an exelent professional;fast,easy to talk to and very sweet.So... ...make sure,next time you are looking to get your beauty stuff done call skin and body and ask for priscila, you won't regrat! more

There is nothing like going to a place where all they do is judge, slander, and talk gossip about other people. It is bad for business and employees should know when to keep their mouth shut and be professional. If you want to be talked about, go here. This is not the place to name the women, but I want to giver her a piece of my mind. more

Ok,this is the best facial I ever had it was done by Pricilla. All I can say is that I booked just for a facial and i got the most relaxing treatment ever, incluting arm massage,shoulders and head massage and a foot massage at the end. Pros: no Cons: no more

I travel for work and got hooked on brazilian waxing while in New York where I went to the famous J Sisters salon (Naomi Campbell and other celebrities are clients). I tried a number of salons on Newbury Street, in Wellesley, etc. and hands down the best is Priscilla at Skin and Body Works in Davis Square. The small clean salon has parking nearby which costs 50 cents per hour-much better than Newbury Street. Though like the pros in New York, Priscilla is quick and sweet , so you may only need half an hour. I have been going here while in town for three years, and their eyebrow waxing is good too, and the facials are a great deal. Just book ahead though, I usually have to plan two weeks in advance. I have been getting brazilians for 6 years now in three different cities. I went to Priscilla based on other citysearch reviews and was hopeful that she would continue to provide the quality of waxes that I have had in other places that I have lived and based on having to wait 2 weeks for an appointment, I figured she was really good. I went to Priscilla 4 times, with each time being a little worse. The last time I went in I should have said something to her then because she did not do a thorough job. Every time I went in, I felt that she was rushing through the job. Like another reviewer, yes, I would be in and out of there in 5-10 minutes but that was only because she rushes through the job and makes the customer feel like she has better things to do. I don't want to be in there for 45 minutes, but when I am paying 50 dollars, I don't want to be out in 5 minutes and not happy with the results. On top of the unsatisfactory waxes, I tried to change my appointment that I had scheduled in March for April 21 to this past Friday, I was told that they no longer are open on Mondays. If nothing else, a business should pride themselves on customer service and should have called me to have me reschedule my appointment. If I hadn't called, I would have showed up on Monday for nothing. When I told the receptionist that they should call people who have Monday appointments I was told, ""Yeah, that is a good idea"" and she wouldn?t even try to fit me in on Friday. With that said, went to Aveda in Harvard Square on Friday. Katie did a great job. She was thorough, polite, friendly, and conscientious of her work. If you are used to high quality waxes, spend the extra 10 dollars and go to Aveda. Pros: Parking Cons: Customer service, quality of waxes more

I wanted to surprise my boyfriend, and a friend recommended S&BW for brazilians. I will never, ever shave again. I was terrified the first time but Priscilla immediately put me at ease and talked me through the whole thing. It didn't even hurt that much, considering the concept of a brazilian. I've now been going for a year and it gets less and less painful each time. She is fast and thorough--I am literally in and out in 5 minutes. Don't be afraid to take the plunge; it is so worth it and Priscilla is the one to go to. Pros: Great atmosphere, skilled staff, great value Cons: None! more

Skin and Body works is just the best spa in terms of customer service. Priscilla Santos, the spa asthetician and manager is polite, compassionate and highly skilled and knowledgable in skin care. She nurtures you from the moment you enter the spa with her kind manners and gentle voice. It has a calming effect immediately as a spa is a refuge from our hectic external lives. I have had many different services from Priscila at Skin and Body Works for about 3 years now. Over this time, I have NEVER had a bad experience. I look forward to my visits every time. Pricella's facials is an awesome relaxing experience. She is excellent at styling eyebrows. I get many compliments on my bows all the time. She is very knowledgable on skin care and I highly recommend her to everyone. Pros: Near the Davis Square T and parking lot across the street more

I wanted to let everyone know that my wax at Skin and Body Works in Davis Sq. was the by far the best I have ever had. The esthetician Priscila is fabulous, shes very sweet, funny, and knows exactly what she is doing. The braz. wax was quick, and honestly not very painful. I've had many facials but this one was by far the best. The esthetician is friendly and delightful. The room was warm and invinting and I felt relaxed throughout the whole experience. Once the facial was over my skin felt soft and glowing and I felt rejuvenated. I look forward to my monthly facials...and she's always very punctual! Pros: close to the T!!! more

Absolutely the best Brazilian wax I've ever had - quicker than I thought possible, as painless as these things go, and Very Very thorough. After a year of trying a new salon every time, I've finally found my place. more
