This is the most disreputable company I've ever had the misfortune of doing business with. The woman at the front desk is rude (she hung up on me no less than twice in one day). They are also dishonest. I was quoted $69.95 for a service to my Singer sewing machine and was told it would be ready the next day. When I called the following day, she had no idea what i was talking about and told me she would get right back to me. I never heard from her the rest of the day. I called the next morning right after they opened and spoke to a man, who told me that he would work on my machine that morning. Several hours later I received a call to say that my machine was ready and that my bill was $106. I just about had a fit. I told her that she had quoted me $69.95 and that I was not happy. She told me that she would call me back and then proceded to hang up on me. Five minutes later she called back to say that they were going to give me a discount. She told me that my bill was now $93 before tax. When I asked her what my total was with the tax, she told me that she would tell me that when I picked up my machine and then proceded to hang up on me again. I am writing this review, because I am absolutely livid. One day after picking up my machine and paying over $100 (yup, the so-called discount was only $6 - Big whoop!!), my machine is broken again. Tomorrow, I'll be taking my machine in to a company that I take sewing classes at and that I know will not rip me off. Sir Vac and Sew will never see me or my money again. Beware of doing business with this company. If not now, you can be sure you'll get ripped off in the future. I agree with a previous reviewer. I wish there were a ZERO rating because that's what they deserve.
