All I can say is WOW!!!! Dr. McCabe and his staff are the best. \r \r I've been trying for the past 4 or 5 years to get contacts that I could actually see out of. I had resolved that it was not going to happen. I heard about Dr. McCabe and on my second visit I was to meet with this other doctor for my contact fitting well needless to say I didn't see him I saw Dr. McCabe. He doesn't even do contact fittings be he did for me. When I left his office I was in tears because for the first time in 21 years I had a pair of contacts that I could really see out of and able to wear the sunglasses I want to wear. \r \r His staff was so patient, friendly and helpful. I am one happy 58 year with the greatest collection of sunglasses ever.\r more

I had not updated my glasses for about 6 years. They still function perfectly well, though the prescription is slightly weak. I just needed some better more modern looking glasses. The doctor was extremely thorough and friendly. He took his time with me and answered all of my questions about glaucoma (my family has a history). He is keeping an eye on it whenever I come in for my appointment.\r \r The optician was very helpful and picked out some really nice glasses for me. I am very happy with my new glasses. My only complaint would be the long wait time. It is something I am willing to deal with though for the personal service and thorough exam I feel I got.\r \r Thank you Dr. McCabe. more

I felt like I was being treated by family as if I were one of the family. I was made comfortable and treated with respect and felt in charge of my eyes by the time I left. more

Buyer Beware: I see from other web reviews that I am not the only one this has happened to. I went here for my annual exam this past year and was also given an incorrect prescription. I could not see at all with my new glasses. I went back to their office and they said it would be $35 for a glasses recheck or ""refraction"" I spoke with the gentleman in the eyeglass dept and the representative at the front desk and they noted my account and set up an appointment for the so called re-check. At the end of this appointment to get my prescription corrected I tried to pay at the desk and they said it was covered by my insurance and I didn't owe anything. 3 weeks later I am notified by my insurance that I have been charged $197 for my eye exam and since I had already had 1 exam this year that this will not be covered. After calling McCabe's office to find out what exactly is going on, and having a lengthy conversation with the ""office manager"", I am told that these are the correct charges, I was never coming in for a $35 re-check, I must pay the amount of an entire exam, and that I must pay extra because I did not pay them the day was there. She said they have no notes in my record regarding me needing a re-check and that the gentleman who I spoke to at the office originally, has no recollection of speaking with me. I will never go back here and would not recommend anyone go here. I never write reviews, but when people can't keep their business in order to this extent, something needs to be said.\r more

Dr. McCabe & his staff are of the utmost in professionalism & friendliness, with a state of the art facility. They make you feel welcome & comfortable. So relieved to have been referred to such a fine doctor. more

There is not a better group of staff that you will find anywhere! They always care for you like you are a member of the family, and the Doctors are just top notch. They will take care of you the best way possible and if there is something they cannot do, they will make sure you get to another Specialist that will take care of you. Sometimes, because they have so many people they are caring for, you may have to wait awhile to be seen, but in the end it is very much worth it. My advice is to bring a book, sewing, or knitting. Other than that, just know that they are a specialists office and if you can't afford to pay for what Insurance doesn't then be aware that they are not a charity. They will help you all they can, but just remember they can't give away their services for free. I know I can't stand it when I go to see my Doctor and I have to wait in line because the person in front of me wants to argue about their bill! Tacky! Anyway, you won't find a better place to get the care for your eyes that you need, wether it's routine exams or a medical need, Dr. McCabe and Dr. Simon are the ones to see more

The service and end product was EXCELLENT. Having wonderful EYE SITE is priceless. Anyone who puts their vision problems off for any reason are missing a beautiful world. The Crystal-lens lens should be the lens of choice. After the surgery everthing was clear and bright, A uplifting experience everyone can enjoy who have eye correction procedures. more
