I bought used Mini Cooper from this dealer back in Sep 2013, I live in CT and it takes me 40 min to get to the dealer. The purchase experience went mostly smooth, besides they misspelled my name and address on paperworks. After noticing the mistake while I was leaving the building Anna Gjomarkaj (the sales person) told me they will correct it right away - no they did not, I started to receiving documents from bank loaner and DMV with different address (thanks to postman who knows where I live). They even typed wrongly my Social Security Number which caused me a problem to get access to my account at bank loaner.\r The main problems started when I left dealer. Firstly the very next day tire pressure monitor went off, I pumped the tire but after a night TPM went off again. After checking local tire service the inside of the alloy wheel was bended as a result looses the pressure. I contacted the Silver Star few times and this is the BIGGEST PROBLEM they NEVER ASWER THE PHONES. After leaving them several messages they answer only one after 3 days and do not want to solve the problem. I did at local service man for $100. And that is not it. I was waiting for 40 days to get regular license plates (it is dealer responsibility) which made me to drive for 10 days without registration (temporary plates are valid for 30 days), and again Anna Gjomarkaj never answer any phone call and never called back.\r Another problem, during purchasing time I was offered extended warranty from 3rd party company. I bought it for $2300 and after looking at the reviews decided to cancel after a 2 weeks (had 30 days to do it). Could not do it via phone, again nobody answering the phones and no calls back after leaving messages. I took a day off and went to the dealer. Firstly the finance director Christian Rula did not know the canceling procedure, I was told I have to talk to Anna (the person who sold us a car) but nobody knew when she start her work. Called Easy Care warranty (extended warranty carrier) and they explain very easy process to cancel they warranty after downloading form from their website. But it was not that easy for Silver Star employees, after refusing leaving the building without solving the issue, finally used car sales manager Joseph Tribble offered your help. He let me explain the problem and left the office room, when he returned 10 min later said - the warranty is cancelled. I left the building, next day called Easy Care and they told me they did not receive any documents from Silver Star - hat the heck?. After speaking with Easy Care representative they let me cancel it different way. It is not over yet. I had to wait up to 45 days for cancellation process and was told from Easy Care they cancelled the warranty and issued all paperworks to Silver Star. Now, I need Silver Star to issue a refund of $2300 to my bank, loan holder and I have been waiting for it more than month now. Again, nobody receiving any phone calls, nobody replies to any messages or emails. This the most disorganized and rude workplace I ever had experience with. Even, contacted (left a message) the main sales manager Rob Morris and guess - no word from him either. I do not wanna waste another day for driving there, but cannot afford loosing $2k. \r \r If you don't want to complicate your daily living, do not do any business with this dealership. more

terrible dont buy there nothing but a headache. they lie. they dont want to warentee their cars go elsewhere better off I recomend Lakeview excellent more

If you have assumed that Mercedes Benz has guidelines to follow just because the name is Mercedes Benz you are totally wrong!. Mercedes Benz does not have any guidelines to follow and dealers can do anything they want with their customer, even missing respect. I am having Mercedes Benz since 1985 thinking that I am in ""good hands"". I realized how wrong I was in 2009 when Silver Star in Long Island NY delivered my car after serviced it with scratches covered by snow. The garage people immediately reported to me the problem just a few minutes after they delivered the car. The service dept. managed by a guy of name ""James"" denied their responsibility and wanted to charged me 1.000 dollars to fix the scratches!!. Of course I refused to pay and after I sent to my Amex Platinum card the lettter issued by the parking garage manager stating that was Mercedes Benz that delivered the car with scratches, Amex did not allowed to Silver Star to charge me the 1000 dollars. Now after two years, I have changed the car for the new convertible 2011. The car is showing that ""it is due for service"". Silver Star AGAIN is denying service. AGAIN ""James"" wants I paid the 1000 dollars for the scratches that ""they did"". He also has the courage to ask me ""why I did not claim it to my insurance""!!!!. BE AWARE of Silver Star and BE AWARE of Mercedes Benz themselves, it is only a name, they do not protect their customers...probably TOYOTA will do better!. Next time I will consider LEXUS like everybody else is having in my area. more

Love this dealership 7/25/2011

Love this dealership, this is our fourth new mercedes, third one from Silver Star. We just bought a E350 Cab, Jamal was great, found one, shipped it to dealer, called us when ready and let us pick it up on Saturday as more convenient. They went out of their way to help, even putting in our two car seats which is not a nice job lol. They even made us aware of new program which is a tire program which if you join you get rims always repaired/replaced and tires fixed when flat etc... no copays etc... great program especially with NYC pot holes which you can feel like you are going to fall into Definitely use them again... As for the guy mentioning bait and switch and finance managers office... never heard or been into finance managers office they always come to you and everything is written down. more

We weren't planning on buying a Mercedes. Came to look enroute to other manufacturer's dealership, but ended up returning, impressed by how much we could get for the same price at Mercedes. Great saleswoman (Anna) who was candid, helpful, honest, and didn't put any pressure on us to buy. We'll return ... but not for a while because we love our 2009 ML350 with only 20,000 miles!!! more

most of all I think is the trust i felt in the salesperson, Nesto, i worked with. Not only does this guy live and breathe cars, but he's possibly one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. And he's a car dealer. I couldn't imagine going to someone else. Overall great, experience and i get to drive a Benz. more

I bought a 2008 Mercedes from Anna Gjomarkaj. She was was very helpful and energetic and had a positive attitued throughout the negotiation. She answered all of my questions and was quick to get back to me when I called. The process went smoothly and I got the car I wanted at what I think is a reasonable price. The car was nicely detailed. I've had it for about a week and I'm very happy with it. more

I have just done my second Mercedes Benz lease with Silver Star Motors. After my great experience with the first least, I could not imagine going to another dealer. Throughout the lease period i often commented, ""if all cars drove like Mercedes Benz and all dealers provided the service that Silver Star does,"" the consumer world would be a very different place. They provide all the high-end services you expect from the most luxury dealers: pickup and drop-off cars for service; leave a loaner; their service turnover times are amazing (usually a day or even same day) and every bit of work i've had done was executed perfectly AND the car comes back completely 'detailed' every time. more

We came in to purchase a C240. Before coming in I spoke with Annamaria and she assured me the car was spotless, beautiful and well worth the drive from NJ. When we arrived, we concluded she was right. Because the car was sold there and serviced there, she was able to show me every service record as well as a clean car fax. I have never had a more honest and pleasant experience buying a car. They offered me the exact vehicle i was searching for, and closed the deal at a price I never thought possible. I have shopped Mercedes Benz for years and these guys are head and shoulders above any other dealer i've dealt with across three states. The Service Department is awesome as well. They were attentive, courteous and delivered exactly as promised to ""seal the deal"". Silver Star Motors is the best dealership, if you're looking for an honest deal and quality service. more

I am accustomed to working with another Manhattan Mercedes dealer but must admit I was surprised to the level of professionalism from Silver Star Mercedes staff. I more or less purchase this vehicle sight unseen and have been smiling for the last two weeks. more
