Having just moved to the Atlanta area from the Northeast, we were looking forward to our first venture into the dining scene. Couldn't have been more disappointed. Upon entering, we had a favorable first impression of the interior plus the staff was very friendly and customer focused. The carrot ginger soup was excellent. But then the first bite of the chilean sea bass revealed it was old fish, emitting an ammonia odor and taste that were awful. The staff immediately offered a different dish with apologies and a sampling of the lobster bisque from the manager. Short ribs were very good, but we discovered the kitchen tended to deviate from menu descriptions e.g. thick pieces of fried portabella were stacked on the beef instead of the advertised potato fries, likewise the accompaniments to both fish dishes didn't match up with the menu, even the dessert ice cream was a change. Our waiter Christopher was very diligent and friendly, but it appears the kitchen staff lacks attention to detail. Hopefully, this could be chalked up to an off night, but it will be awhile before we decide to return.
Pros: Attentive wait staff
Cons: Inattention to detail by kitchen staff, major oversight in quality of fish
