No longer in existance! 2/7/2011

Food and service was that which you would find at a sports bar.(SLOW and AVERAGE) I was not impressed. The restaurant itself closed towards the end of 2010. more

Overpriced with bad service 2/28/2009

Went here the day before Valentines day. This is not a romantic ""Valentines day"" restaurant. We were seated promptly but had to wait for a looooong time for our waiter. He then forgot to bring us our wine so we had to remind him. We shared the calamari which was pretty good but not great. My husband had the taste of Sias which was different fish dishes and some scallops which he really enjoyed. I had the Lamb Osso Buco which was way to fatty for my taste and I ended up leaving the place still hungry. Pros: Parking Cons: Service more

Excellent waitstaff 8/22/2007

We had reservations for four last Friday evening and were seated promptly upon arrival. Though the restaurant was moderately busy, it was very cool and quiet which is exactly what we were hoping for. Our server was a very helpful and pleasant young woman and our service was impeccable. The food was a little disappointing and somewhat expensive considering. The salmon was good but the filet mignon was seasoned with an overly spicy sauce which didn't suit the dish. The desserts were very small but quite tasty and nicely plated. Of the four of us, two would return and two would not. Pros: ambience and service Cons: average food for above average prices more

Bad experience! 2/15/2007

We had a reservation for 8:15 on Valentines Day, which was also confirmed that day via a phone call. Yet, upon our arrival I was told that we would have to wait for 30 to 40 min before being seated due to overbooking. The best accommodation that was offered was to wait at the bar, which was completely full as well. The front desk hostess wasn?t very helpful nor was she apologetic. We decided to leave.\r \r Needless to say, I will not be coming back to Sia?s again. Nor will my friends and colleagues. more

Mediocrity 1/6/2007

Having just moved to the Atlanta area from the Northeast, we were looking forward to our first venture into the dining scene. Couldn't have been more disappointed. Upon entering, we had a favorable first impression of the interior plus the staff was very friendly and customer focused. The carrot ginger soup was excellent. But then the first bite of the chilean sea bass revealed it was old fish, emitting an ammonia odor and taste that were awful. The staff immediately offered a different dish with apologies and a sampling of the lobster bisque from the manager. Short ribs were very good, but we discovered the kitchen tended to deviate from menu descriptions e.g. thick pieces of fried portabella were stacked on the beef instead of the advertised potato fries, likewise the accompaniments to both fish dishes didn't match up with the menu, even the dessert ice cream was a change. Our waiter Christopher was very diligent and friendly, but it appears the kitchen staff lacks attention to detail. Hopefully, this could be chalked up to an off night, but it will be awhile before we decide to return. Pros: Attentive wait staff Cons: Inattention to detail by kitchen staff, major oversight in quality of fish more

Helped us with difficult requests with grace 4/18/2006

The staff really looked out for us as we couldn't decide on two different entrees that we both wanted to try, the lobster and the scallops, so they split them and put half of each on our plates!!! Guillermo, our waiter, said they do it all the time for people. A lot of nice touches. Pros: beautiful food, worth the drive, nice staff more

I can't say enough!!! 4/18/2006

This restaurant was a great find for my wife and I. It was a calming room, good for a night out away from the kids. The service was exceptional, and our server Todd was very on point with his knowledge and suggestions. The food was very innovative, and seasoned perfectly, hot, and delicious. Really nice presentations. Pros: Great Food, not loud, Fantastic Service Cons: cork fee, closed sundays more

A Fantastic Find!!! 3/15/2006

I recently took a first date there, and left with a very positive first impression. My companion and I tried the Lobster potstickers and the tamarind ribs which were fantastic, as well as the house cured lemongrass salmon tacos. For entrees we enjoyed the Red Snapper in tagine, and the Alaskan Halibut with a mild green curry. The presentations were beautiful, and our server Martha, did not rush or push us, which is certainly not the norm. For dessert we had the apple beignets and the Sweet Grass Dairy cheese duo. Everything was extremely well done. Definitely worth the drive. Pros: Great Food, Nice interior, Good Service Cons: OTP more

Great Duck 5/19/2002

The atmosphere and food were terrific. You have to try the duck more
