STAY AWAY FROM THIS PEST CONTROL COMPANY!! They ripped my family off by lying and saying we had termites when another company said they lied to us! They would not refund us our $1,000!!!! Larry was screaming at his employee, Lisa, when I called to talk to him, and he was so rude and unprofessional. I will be filing charges. more

I wish I could give this company -5 stars. What a terrible mistake it was to hire this extremely unprofessional company. The techs never show up on time...if they even show up at all. You call the office and they don't have a clue. Can you really run a business when your people are ALWAYS RUNNING LATE? The owner Larry just continues to give excuses as to why his people cant get anywhere on time. Really? Do you really expect me to wait around in my house (again and again and again) until you decide to show up on Saturday afternoon? Based on the other reviews, im not only one who received horrible service. Do yourself a favor, hire a reputable company, its worth it. more

It's hard to know where to begin with how horrible this company is. #1-an hour late for first appointment. #2-small ant problem not fixed. Called three weeks later to take advantage of 30 day garauntee. #3-no on showed up for appointment. When I called, they said ""huh, I see it here, don't know how we missed it. I'll call you back in 5 minutes when I find a tech."" No call back, so I called them and rescheduled. Guess what...#4 No one showed up for rescheduled appointment. Called again, ""Sorry, they are running REALLY late. God, Larry (the manager) DOES THIS ALL THE TIME! But I promise someone will be there at Xtime this afternoon."" Great.... Guess what, #5 NO ONE SHOWED UP! When I called again...blah, blah, you get the point. Problem STILL NOT SOLVED. Larry had the balls to suggest I get a yearly service. I asked if he was kidding. Long story, short point-DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR PEST CONTROL. more

STAY AWAY from this unprofessional and unethical ""company"". I had them for a bi-monthly service to treat our yard. Several months ago our ficus hedges became infected with whiteflies. One would think that the technicians that are spraying our yard would at the very least would bring this to my attention and try to upsell a whitelfy treatment. They didn't. It wasn't until I noticed half of my hedges completely bare that I had them come out and spray for whitelfies. I specifically asked and they said they guarantee the treatment for six months; if the flies return so will they at no charge. Well, the files are back and when called to get them to retreat the hedges, the owner Larry said they would have to charge me even more than I paid the first time! After I said I was not willing to pay, he said I should call someone else. Do yourself a favor... TAKE HIS ADVICE. Call someone (anyone) else! more

I wish there was a way I could give this company a minus 5 rating. I have had nothing but bad experiences with this company (which apparently is no longer a legitimate Florida Corporation and is not registered). No shows, work not done correctly, rude employees, and sloppy work, incompetent office personnel, and an owner, Larry, who claims to be a dispatcher, and doesn't know who the owner is. When the workers showed up (many broken, missed appointments), the work orders were wrong because the office couldn't get it right. We realized we were getting scammed when the owner said our prepaid work order was already completed (when we weren't there, of course), and later an office person called to schedule the call. We are now suspect that any of the work they have done has been done correctly, if at all. Stay away from this terrible company, and find a reputable pest control company. more

i was looking for advice on getting rid of roaches so i called ship shape. they came out for a free inspection and recommended a once a year program but i decided to go with a bi-monthly service instead because it was a little cheaper upfront. they sprayed once and we have not seen any roaches since so i may cancel the service before they come again since i think the problem is gone now. if the roaches do come back though i will definitely use them again. more

They were the company that did the exterminations for our condo and we never saw any bugs so when we moved into our home we asked them for similar service. They signed us up for a bi-monthly service which was a lot cheaper than anyone else we contacted and our new home continues to be bug free which we're very happy about. more

Ship Shape Pest Control is not cheap at all. They are not professional at all. I asked an inspection from them and they just find fire ants but I saw rat walking on the ground a week after they finish their job. They could not find rodent for you and what they did for insect are not that good too. You can just go to Home depot to buy some ants killer to do the job by yourself. ALso the customer service is really bad and a guy on the phone keep saying I am wasting his time. I don't understand why he did so but he is the person to answer phone rather than just ask money. NEVER NERVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!!! more

The owner Larry is a very unprofessional person, the sales person tries to scam you into additional services and when you decline those services, they continue to send people to do the discontinued service - THEN CHARGE YOU FOR IT. Not only that, I did not allow the service truck to spray the exterior because of my dogs, now the owner is sending his henchmen to collect a $50 fee and won't honor the agreement until he is paid for the service (which remember, WAS NOT DONE). Today he calls and leaves me a nasty voicemail.. good like finding a service that can take care of your ants.. in a snide voice. Larry and Co - (EXCEPT Lisa) are low down theives! Ship SHOP elswhere! Way to my aggrivation for pest control - they are the pests! more

I am not sure if I can lower the star rating! I wish I could. I had a rat problem and I can even count how may times I called this company to fix the problem that they guaranteed me could be done. I paid them the money and I still have the same issue. This is something that I told them months ago. Larry the owner has the worst customer service that is possible!!!! I had to pay another company to resolve my issue. The worst company!! more

I gave them 1 star because I think that is the lowest you can do. Ship Shape came out today to start their service. The person need to get into the attic to dust for ants. I left him in the garage to work. He did not seem to be working up there long. I went out to check on him. He had the attic closed up all ready. I said I did not hear him walking up there. He said his ladder was too short to get him up there. he just held the hose from the entrance and did the best he could do. more

We purchased the annual service plan which was very reasonable. We had to call a couple of times during the year, once for palmettos (ugh!) and again for ants, and each time, they were out within 24 hours, serviced the property, problem solved. They are great to deal with on the phone and in person. Professional, and on time. If all the service companies we use were half as good, we would never have any complaints. I recommend this company to friends/family without hesitation. more

i'm an old fart and i know i'm a pain in the butt but they did a pretty good job on my home. hired them to treat for termites. they were priced well and service was fast. needed to do a little clean up afterwards but other than that they did a good job. more

We recently started noticing ants on our kitchen counters and tried everything to get rid of them but they kept finding their way in so we called Ship Shape. Ship Shape set us up with a protective lawn spray and professional baits. Within a week the ants were gone! Best of all it was really cheap compared to some of the other companies we called. I was really impressed with them. The only issue I had was they missed the first service call and was about an hour late on the reschedule but they did call to let me know. Other than that I would definitely use them again for any other pest problem I have. more

They don't show up...ever! Not in time, not on the day and sometimes not for weeks! We paid $1300 and were totally ripped off because that was just the INITIAL charge. Then it's another $70 every other month. They are NOT cheaper than the more well known services. They are incompetent, unreliable and inefficient. It's like hiring the Three Stooges and the work never gets done and no one shows up (but the bills arrive in time)! Then, Larry (real name and one of the stooges) who works there says he doesn't have a manager or supervisor, he said; ""Our workers hate to come to your house because you're miserable."" Of COURSE we are! You never show up and we were TOTALLY ripped off! My husband or me take off from work time and time again and no one calls or shows up. I called this time because I was billed for a visit which never happened because they never came. The stooges came to deliver it to me because they ""were in the area."" I ask why this continually happens. Larry continues; ""Now I know exactly why no one wants to go to your house."" I asked to ""speak to the owner's wife, Patricia."" Larry said; ""What kind of law degree do you have with that memory of yours? Obviously not a good one. The owner's wife's name is not Patricia."" Shocking. I said; ""I read the reviews online and they were bad, Larry so I'm not the only one."" Larry said; ""You probably WROTE those reviews. It was YOU who did that."" Well, now I am! And it should have been done MONTHS ago. Horrible business. Horrible employees. No class, no brains and totally inept. Still roaches, rats and mice crawling everywhere. PLEASE go with someone else. more

I renewed a termite protection plan that the previous owner purcased for $105.00. A month later I noticed termite activity so I called them. They never showed up. They rescheduled 5 times and they never showed up. more
