I did not expect to be unhappy. Had a brake fluid issue. No problem. As long as we are working that system, check the brake shoes as well. No problem. BUT. AND THIS IS BIG. ...

Oil change 3/23/2014

Very disappointed in the service. Took the service man 1hour to change oil. I told the person in charge to make sure. The service reset the oil button. What he did was screw up my car. When I got home on star had called me about the oil. I took the car back. And had it fixed. My steering wheel was so high I couldn't see the road and something was hanging from the column. My husband fixed that for me. We have been bringing our cars there. For years, not anymore. My car will only. Go to the dealers from now on. What my husband does with his car is his problem. I feel if the guy didn't know what he was doing he should of told someone. more

Convenient hours 3/7/2014

We find the inspections to be convenient because the hours of operation are good. They do provide recommendations even if everything passes inspection. I prefer if everything passes, they pass it without documenting on the inspection suggestions. Other stations only make verbal suggestions and do not write on the inspection page suggestions which did not cause a failure. It would be fine to write on the receipt, but I do not think they should write on the inspection page anything which does not cause a failure. more

Excellent service as usual 3/4/2014

took my 2008 Equinox in for service because the check engine light was on. They called with the diagnosis and proceeded to fix the vehicle. I have always had excellent service from them and this was no different. They continue to make me feel like a valued customer. I would highly recommend them. more

A good place for cars and service 3/4/2014

James Madision Shell is a good service station. They perform state inspections six days a week. One suggestion -- start doing inspections at 7 AM, just like the sign says, not 7:15 AM as occurred on March 1st. more
