I took my dog here because she was urinating blood. The doctor did the test and found out that she had bladder stones and that she needed surgery immediately. The price they quoted me was $1,000 including some other work-up stuff. Now I love my dog, but I did not have the money, and they made it appear that this was an emergency and had to be dealt with right away or else my dog would be in serious trouble. After crying all day, I called the vet in my hometown and they told me that for the surgery to remove the bladder stones, the cost would be $100. Granted, they did the old-fashined surgery instead of the laser one that this Shelbyville Road Veterinary Hospital said that they would do, but I was not given the option at SRVH for the old-fashioned surgery.
