I have had a hard time finding a salon in Dallas that I really liked but a friend told me about Shear Heaven. Debra did my hair and made it so beautiful!!! It was dry and brittle and my color was a mess, and she fixed it! She did wonders to my hair! Everyone is super friendly and inviting. Highly recommend this salon more

Best Ever 3/16/2011

I'm 32 years old and I have now found the most fantastic place to get my hair done. I loved the salon It was fun and enviting and everyone was so nice. I felt at home as soon as I walked in. Debra did such a Great job with my hair. My hair was in terrible shape and Debra re invented my look !!!! It finally looks natural. I'm going back again too have my toes and eyebrows done. more

Finally! My search is over! 3/15/2011

I moved here 5 years ago and hopped around to one too many places trying to get a decent, consistent haircut. I tried the high end places where I paid an arm and a leg for the ""master"" stylist from whom I'd get one great haircut and 3 bad ones...not worth paying triple the price. I tried good old fashioned barbers but never got the cut I wanted. But, at last! I came in thinking what have I got to lose...I can wear a hat for a couple of weeks if I get yet another bad hair cut. I walked in and got set up with Brenda who got right down to business. She asked what I wanted and went to it. Usually, when I get haircuts, I just stare at the TV and respond politely to small talk, but Shear Heaven was full of life and people to watch. Debra, the owner, was constantly making sure the customers were satisfied. Ciarra and the other stylists were sources of non-stop amusement. Just got my 3rd haircut last week and I think I found a keeper! more

hidden gem 3/15/2011

if you want to pay way too much money for a mediocre haircut at a trendy, pretentious salon, then DO NOT come to this place! The hair stylists were warm and friendly, I got one of the best hair cuts I've ever had, and the price was very reasonable. The location is a bit odd; the salon is inside the Windsor, which is a retirement community. And the building itself has perhaps seen better days, but once you're inside Shear Heaven, you'll be glad you made the effort. I'm heading back tomorrow to get my nails done, and as soon as my hair color needs to be re-done, I will be going back again. And I can't wait to try thier massage therapist!! more

Facial by Lina 3/14/2011

I am long time customer of Debra and her salon for my color and haircuts. This trip to the salon, I decided to branch out with my beauty experiences and have a facial with Lina. She also waxed my eyebrows. The facial was so relaxing and my skin truly seemed healthier and more vibrant. Face and brows looks great. Lina is beautiful and very competent. Thanks!! more

Always wanted beautiful nails - finally got them! 3/13/2011

Saw the reviews on citysearch about Shear Heaven and thought I would give it a try. I have always wanted to have beautiful nails but because my nails a so thin I have not been able to get them to grow. Kimo suggested that I try the OPI Soak Offs. Not only did she do a great job but she is the sweetest person I think I ever met. I was pampered with a great hand massage and I just love my nails. I will recommend to my girlfriends! I will also go back to try other services. Thank you Kimo! more

Hidden Gem!!! 2/17/2011

Walking into this salon you'd never guess the rates would be so affordable. Everyone is so helpful and professional. Debra is the best at color and I'm hooked on the Keratin Complex treatments. I would have never thought to try this treatment.... but I LOVE it!!! I'm recommending this salon and spa (and everything they do) to all of my friends! more

Best Salon Ever! 2/17/2011

Every time I go to Shear Heaven, I am treated like a queen. Debra and her staff are professional, friendly and just plain fun to be around. Debra is a genius at mixing the perfect color for you and knowing just the right hair cut to flatter your face. The Keratin treatment is the best especially for the humid weather we have in Dallas. My hair never looked so good! I am definitely a repeat customer and have found my permanent Salon home. : ) more

Great Spa and Salon! 2/17/2011

I am a home health nurse ( in my mid forties) and discovered the incredible salon staff at Shear Heaven when I made a visit at Windsor Senior Living. I wear a short cut and my hair can be difficult to work with. After a very detailed consultation the stylist Brenda went to work and I walked out feeling like a million bucks. Brenda showed me a new style that perfectly fits my busy lifestyle and the shape of my face. I have returned again and again. The ENTIRE staff is professional and very pleasant. I have my nails done and clinical massages with Ms. J which have helped me manage my multiple sclerosis. The custom facials with Gigi have regenerated my skin and my laugh lines are greatly reduced. I have purchased the occasional new jewelry and a sweater piece and feel I am kept up-to-date with hair and fashion! The location is perfect as I can zip off the freeway and get right back on and continue on my way. I enjoyed visiting with all of the clients and felt so uplifted and energetic the first time I visited that I had to go back again just for the fun. The clients are across the age span and it is fun sharing and trying new colors and styles with lots of moral support !!!! Can't wait to bring my mom and grand-mother (93 years old!) to have a girl's day at the spa. Their products are top line and yes...very affordable. They sincerely care about their clients and their results!!!! more

THE BEST KEPT SECRET IN DALLAS 2/16/2011

Tucked away in the Windsor, Shear Heaven Salon has become one of my personal best finds in the Dallas area. Upon entering I was greeted in a very professional and friendly manner and was immediately taken to a chair where Brenda, who not only knew exactly what I had envisioned, but executed my cut with passion and in a very timely manner. All stylist in the salon then consulted with me on the very best hair color for my skin tone. I left feeling that I had unearthed one of the best kept secrets in Dallas. During these economic times, it's hard to find a place where you can keep you wallet and still leave feeling like a million dollars. Shear Heaven has become my new home away from home. more

Love my new do! 2/15/2011

I am thrilled with my new hairdo! Debra and Ciara did an excellent job. My hair looks so natural you would never now that it is colored! I was very nervous but they were so kind and very reassuring throughout the entire process. I am thrilled with the results. I also did the Keratin Express treatment and am very pleased with it as well. Everyone has commented how much younger I look. I will take that compliment any day. Even my family was surprised at how different I looked after my visit to Shear Heaven. I definitely will work this into my routine and I highly recommend you visit this salon. They are fantastic! more

Wonderful massage at Shear Heaven!! 2/11/2011

Ms. Jay with Shear Heaven Salon and Spa at Windsor was excellent! I have had other massages before but they just do not compare. The atmosphere is great and she really gave me a tailor-made experience. I have had trouble with my neck and shoulder and she was able to help relieve the tension and stress that I was carrying there when other massage therapists could not. She is very knowledgeable and experienced with clinical massage. I strongly suggest you give her a visit. more

My New Favorite Salon 2/11/2011

I found this great salon off of Coit and 635 called ?Shear Heaven Salon at Windsor? and boy am I glad I found this place. I must say the entire staff in this place was absolutely wonderful. I had my hair colored by Debra a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love the color. I?ve been to a lot of different salons in my life but none of them seemed to knew what they were doing. Debra on the other hand seemed to be very knowledge about hair coloring and what I wanted. I have found my new permanent Salon finally. Thank you Debra for the great color. more

An amazing salon, not to be missed! 1/25/2011

Debra and her team are amazing! I have had my hair done many times and have always been extremely happy and I am super picky!!! The girls are all so friendly and professional.. I also just had a facial and it was wonderful. This salon offer everything so it is a one stop for hair, nails, massage and facials. You can shop for bing and bags too, it doesnt get much better than that! more

Owner Debra Pak and her team are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Having been in the salon and spa industry myself, Debra uses only industry leading products, the services are exceptional and the pricing is affordable. I recently moved to Dallas and after trying other salons, I was in need of a color correction. Debra booked more than enough time with me for a complete consultation and made sure she achieved the results I wanted.
