I love our new blinds. I had a friend help me hang them and I never hung blinds before. It was easy with a drill. Don't try an electric drill. It isn't powerful enough to drive the screws into the wood. The blinds hang easily and look very classy. more

I purchased these blind five years ago for our house and one recently broke. I called shades shutters blinds and they repaired by broken string free of charge. I was expecting to have to buy a new one but all I had to do was ship it in and saved about $100. They really are the best value. more

Our blinds arrived around two weeks after placing our order. We ordered some bamboo blinds and they came a different color than what the sample was. The color had much more red than the sample. We had to send one of the blinds back along with the sample so they could ""compare"". Several weeks later, Shades Shutters Blinds called back and said there wasn't anything they could do about this. The material came from a different die lot and natural grasses are not perfect. They did offer to send us a new style but that isn't what we wanted. They also offered a refund. I am glad I ordered the sample or we would have been out of luck. After reading around the site, that's the only way they will honor ""wrong colors"". We finally settled on keeping these at half off. It isn't the optimal option but we can live with it. It wasn't worth the time or headaches. more

We ordered some faux wood blinds and they requested us to post a review about our experience. The quality is very nice, they came from Texas and we got them in one week, they are easy to install and work fine. The prices are very competitive. more

We bought some cordless honeycomb shades with the top down feature which was free. They work very nicely and are extremely easy to handle and operate. more

I can't complain about the quality of the blinds. They are good and came quickly but the installation instructions that came with the boxes were for the wrong type of roller shade! We ordered cordless roller shades and they sent instructions for the regular ones. It was a hassle and took us an extra day to hang the blinds. You guys need videos on how to hang these things. It would make it much easier. more

We soon discovered that there are really two types of blinds. Cheap and high quality. We tried one of those cut to fit vertical blinds from Home Depot and decided we wanted something nicer for our home. The high quality, name brand shades can be expensive and to do all the windows in our home was thousands of dollars. Anyways, we could not afford to do our entire house until we discovered Shades Shutters Blinds. Do not expect them to go out to your house and do all the work for you. There showroom doesn't give you much and is small. We didn't realize this when we walked into the ""store"" but they are an internet company. We knew we wanted honeycomb style and worked with Scott??? who new about the products with in-depth knowledge and walked us through the process of how to measure and install. Instead of sending me home with mounds of sample books, he took us into the sample area and let me pull the colors we were interested in and take them home. The products we purchased were generics from a major name brand and the quality was the exact same. We did 22 windows for $1400 which was less than 1/2 of JC Penny's quote and 1/3rd less than Home Depot! I am glad we used Shades Shutters Blinds and have told our neighbors about them. Susy more

After having traouble with the Home Depot, we purchased from shades shutters blinds. The quality is much nicer and the prices were actually better. Also, no sales taxes. We will purchase again. more
