Found a Dentist 11/5/2011

I don't go to a dentist often (it's not my idea of a fun time), I do take good care of my teeth, but even without a known problem, every so often it is necessary to get a check-up and thorough cleaning; however since moving to the Sacramento area I had been without a dentist. A special offer made me aware of Laguna Dental. When I called for an appointment I said I wanted to schedule as soon as possible. I was able to get an appointment within a few weeks time but was also offered to be put on a cancelation list and that resulted in me being called and getting in even sooner like I wanted. The office was clean and pleasant, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I had x-rays, exam and cleaning with all procedures explained along the way. I got in and out quickly and painlessly and learned they accept my insurance. I think it is an excellent practice where I will return from now on. My one and only complaint would be that I wish more time had been spent putting a final polish on the teeth after cleaning because one of the back teeth didn't feel quite as squeaky clean as possible. more

Great office!!! 7/18/2011

I had not been to a dentist in years and was hesitant to see a new one. But after meeting Dr. Shad and his staff , I'm glad I'm getting back on track with my dental care. They took the time to answer all my questions and listen to my concerns. The office is very clean and organized and the front office girl was friendly and upbeat and walked me through each appointment I needed. Overall the office made me feel comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend this office to all of my friends and family. more

toothache pain-no longer 9/2/2010

Liz the receptionist was wonderful I was in bad pain so she made sure I was seen a/s/a/p. The dentist was so gentle and made sure he didn't cause me even more pain while doing the exam. He was wonderful. I had the best experience anyone could get from a dentist office. Thanks! more

nice family practice wonderful doctor and staff 9/2/2010

like most people i have not manynice things tosay about going to the dentist. im not scared-i just hate going. i just moved to town from the bay and the previous dentist i saw since i was a kid. i met dr shad and i was immediately at ease with him. and the hygenist is great-debbie, she gave me the best teeth cleaning of my life! the office is new, very large and clean which is a huge deal to me. i have been back for a couple fillings and i have to say-best dentist ever! highly reccomend laguna village dental. more

The dentist at this facility is the best that I've ever been to. He is professional, but easy going, tremendous expertise and a great bedside (chairside) manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone, children or seniors. more

I was looking for a new Dentist in the area-just moved from the bay area...i was recommended to laguna village dental by a friend. she build the office up pretty high, and she was 100% accurate. he is gentle, explains everything do tthoroughly, the hygenist debbie gave me the best cleaning of my life! liz and christina are great-all my insurance and copays were explained up front and i did not have to wait too long at all to be seen- i am soooo happy i founf this place, i refer everyone i can! In addition to a great staff and all dental procedure was performed well to meet my needs, I believe Laguna Dental has master the art of modern dentistry. Inviting atmosphere too! Great staff, clean and new office with newer technology! tv in most rooms and exceptional service! Pros: excellent dentist, invisalign too Cons: cons-that doesnt exist here! more

Dr. Amir Shad is the ultimate professional. His bedside manner is impeccable.He has mastered his craft with the most up to date training and technology. For over fifty years I have had an uncontrollable fear of dentists. Dr. Shad has inspired me with a confidence that I now look forward to my dental visits totally without fear. Because of my positive experience and recommendation my entire family are now his patients. Liz, the front desk receptionist is an excellent people person. She is very professional with a vast knowledge in all areas to get you thru your visit. I very highly recommend Laguna Village Dental to anyone looking for an excellent dentist and an exceptional dental practice. Now if I see someone without a smile, I will give them one of mine. The office is very nice and comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional! I absolutely loved the woman who cleaned my teeth and did my x-rays (I wish I remembered her name) She was very patient with me as I winced in pain a few times. It had been a while since I had been at a dentist and had some sensitivity. Last but certainly not least, Dr. Shad was wonderful! I loved his up-front and honest approach to my treatment. He was funny and very approachable. I definitely felt more comfortable with him than with any other dentist I have had. I look forward to finally taking care of my teeth the way I should have been. great dental office, new clean and they have cable! 2/6/2010

i have been needing gum surgery for a long time and an implant for a front tooth. i went to see laguna village dental and once i was there, i was informed of the periodontist on site one time a month. perfect for me so i dont have to go to another location, way convienent. to top it off, dr shad does invisalign-clear braces-which my 2 teenage girls want. they do not want typical braces ...so i have finally found a dental office that not only meets all my needs, but also offers a wonderful-pain free experience. liz at the front explained all cost to me prior to the appointments and it was just too easy. i highly recommend them to YOU! debbie is the hygenist on staff. the last few offices had the assistants doing the teeth cleaning, but here they give u a whole hour with the hygenist. let me tell ya-my teeth have never felt so clean, she takes her time and i have told all my co-workkers, call n see for ur self.\r aqlso, the dr-dr shad is wonderful. he takes his time, explains it all clear and thorough. i had no anxiety when i left-i feel comfortable and well treated. 5 stars, no doubt! i am scared of dentists and needles. i never had a wait time at any appts of mine, all copays discussed ahead, they even offer interest free financing and take credit cards. they are explanatory both the front office and the dr telling me everything step by step, and also he does implants, and has a periodontist here which is convienet becuz i had surgery in the past and now can have it all done under 1 roof! best dentist I ever had~! 1/6/2010

I love the fact that he is the most gentle at giving me my shots, he is a provider for my insurance-he informnd me i have ortho coverage which i never even knew and next week im starting invisilign and also get free teeth whitening. theres cable in the waiting room and a big flat screen in a room, relaxing and wonderful dentist and staff! highly recomended Pros: caring, gentle, compassionate, clean and professional more

excellence in cosmetic dentistry 11/18/2009

I HAVE BEEN SAVING MY MONEY AND LOOKING HARD FOR A DENTSIT TO MAKE OVER MY MOUTH. from wrong choices in the past and not taking care of my mouth-it is bad, i need cosmetic dentisry to the fullest. i went on many consultations but hadnt found a dr i trusted-until now. i am now into phase 2 of my treatment and am extremly impressed, so happy and again for the 1st time in 35 years proud to smiile, i recomend dr shad to everyone that compliments me on myu smile-ehich happens all the time since i smile sooo much now! i am forever thankful and do not know how woeds can express. the cost was fair and expalind in great detail. they offer financing with no interest and i am living proof that great dentists do exist! call now, u will not regret it Pros: MILLION $ SMILE Cons: DIDNT FIND DR SHAD BEFORE ONLY CON more

i need implants on my front teeth and dr shad helped me not be afraid to smile! he is great, more than exceptional at his craft and explains whats going on the whole time. my daughter just started invisilign also because she has crwoded teeth and she didnt want to be in high school with metal braces. she is happy, also since they give free teeth bleaching also Pros: excellence everyday more
