I just moved in from TX and was looking for a new Dr. I found city search and read reviews about the office and thats how i made my decision. it is all true-the office is new, bright and clean with state of the art equipment. he explains all the treatment i need and during my 1sy appt when i got a root canal he explained step by step which made me at ease since i am scared of needles and dentists. the front office, liz explained my cost down to the T and there were no surprises-which i hate getting bills, she told me what was and wasnt covered and i am very happy! i referred by parents! i came here and actually chose dr shad due to the reviews i read online on citysearch. I am nervous and havent been to the dentist since over 8yrs. I like dr shad becuz he is gentle, very explanatory and informative, no pain shots. i ave delta dental and they are providers, the receptionist expalined all my insurance to me and is sure to tell me whats NO covered so i know ahead. but she told me about interest free financing i may do, but ...we will see...I highly recomend this office, you will love them! clean n new they have cable Pros: friendly & warm environment Cons: none at all more

Zoom whitening, implants, Invisalign braces, white fillings, caps, bridges, partials, there is nothing they cant do! I had such an awesome experience at Laguna Village that I felt like I should write something. I'm always having issues with my teeth and no matter what it is, Dr. Shad is always able to fix my problem. He takes pride in his work and always wants it done right. Another thing I like is co-pays are always talked about BEFORE treatment so there is no surprise bill! Two thumbs up!!! Pros: Great Dentist, organized, clean, friendly staff more

I was in so much pain because of my wisdom teeth so I walked into Laguna Village Dental and they made time to see me...right away! They were so good at answering my questions and making me feel comfortable. The whole staff was genuinely nice. Dr. Shad sat me down, starting by giving me his whole background then giving me ALL options as far as what could be done with my tooth. He didnt make the choice for me, or try to ''scam'' me in any way. In the end I was able to make the decision myself. I was really nervous, but his voice was so soothing and while he worked on me he was making jokes, telling stories, and before I knew it my tooth was gone! I plan to become a regular patient at Laguna Village, and highly recommend him...especially to the scaredy-cats, like me! Pros: Clean office, calming atmostphere, no waiting! more

Dr. Shad is very careful to explain all my dental needs thoroughly. When it came time for him to do the work, his shots were pain- free and he went slow and gently w/ a steady hand. I have Delta and they are providers wich helps with the copays, dr shad also is an invisalign dentist. at my age i dont want to be a metal brace face, so i started the process to get clear braces! the dentist is great very gentle and explained everything in detail and provided me with all the options for my dental treatment. I always wanted to fix my crooked teeth and at my age...I did not want to get metal braces. Dr Shad does Invisalign and he said it will only take me about 11 months total. i recommend this office very highly, the staff is so nice, clean office-brand new office. I just went and saw Dr. Shaad to get some fillings. He was professional throughout. He has a very nice chairside manner. He cracks little jokes to get you to relax. His injection for the Novacain was completely painless. He is excellent at keeping you informed of what he is about to do, so there are no surprises. He told me to raise my hand if I ever wanted him to stop. I accidentally raised my hand and he immediately stopped what he was doing and pushed away from me. I highly recommend him. I came for a regular check up and found that I had some cavities. I made an appointment and was scheduled in very quickly. Dr. Shad was very gentle and made sure everything was perfect during the fillings. After my fillings I then started talking about invisalign treatment with Dr. Shad. He was very informative and told me everything I needed to know about invisalign so I decided to do it. My teeth were straight in less than a year. You also get free whitening with the invisalign which is great. Talk to Liz about making your payments, she’s very friendly and kind like everyone else there. Can't wait for my next check up! Dr. Shad is an Invisalign specialist, thats why I went to see him. But in the end, i became a patient for regular dental care as well. I was interested in Implants and I found that he has a periodontist on site which is so helpful! He gave me free whitening with my invisalign treatment and made the payments really affordable, i have a no interest payment plan. i would recommend him to anyone! and I do! Great office to go to. The invisalign treatment was great. You know upfront what you are going to pay. I took a coupon from clipper and got a discount. They made a plan to work out the payments for me over the next year which makes it easy. My teeth are getting straight using clear retainers that aren't even noticeable. Dr. Shad was very knowledgeable, patient and kind. I would definitely recommend this dental office. Oh, I forgot to mention the location is great (near Elk Grove) with great parking....you can go to the movies after your dentist appointment or get a bite to eat at Thai Basil!! Dr. Shad is very understanding, and he has an incredibly gentle touch. I went in to see him about a cavity, and I can honestly say that I have never had a cavity filled in such a quick and smooth manner as I have had in his office. \r \r Before beginning the procedure, Dr. Shad administered two shots of novocaine to the area. Still, I felt a bit of pain because the cavity was pretty deep. As soon as I mentioned this to him, he didn't even miss a beat! He gave me a third shot to make me feel comfortable. I remember him saying that there was no need to feel any pain for such procedures in this day and age. I was so grateful!! With previous dentists, they would just tell me to give it time and allow the anesthetic to work fully (basically ""hushing"" me), but Dr. Shad listened to every little thing I said. \r \r If you are looking for a place where you are treated with respect and the utmost level of care, look no further!
