Service Genius Air Conditioning and Heating

This company is irresponsible and unprofessional, went through multiple customer service representatives for the same install. Technician did NOT show up on time, no text or phone call, I was assured, due to a timeframe with my tenant that the technician would show up to once again "measure" so the install would go smoothly, this did NOT happen, it is past 9am and the "tracking" on the technician once again showed 19 minutes to arrival, once again, well past the agreed scheduled appointment time. The on call service center, guaranteed me the technician would show up at the time scheduled, like I said, he did not, STAY AWAY from this company, they do not provide the service they PROMISE!!! If I could give NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!!! more

The Service Genius Air Conditioning company was recommended to me by a neighbor, I was hesitant to call them at first, but I'm glad I did. The costumer rep. Xenia B. was very helpful and courteous from the start and always kept me informed of my appointment status, she did a great job Xenia. The field technician Luis N. was very respectful, courteous and very knowledgeable, he was able to assist me with all my concerns, he also help me with some energy savings tips, great job Luis My overall experience with this two employees was amazingly awesome, and now days it's hard to get some good service from this type of companies. Ryan with Service Genius came out to tune up my heat and air units and install a Nest thermostat - I was worried that this was a scam and found out I was worried for nothing. Ryan was amazing, thorough and dedicated to taking care of us! I will be switching to Service Genius for future needs as a result!! more

Our Air Conditioning would not work. Jose C. came out to fix our unit. He was very polite and fixed the problem. He offered advice on maintaining our unit and suggested for us to set up a maintenance contract. We were very happy with his attitude and work so we agreed. more

We learned about Service Genius from a neighbor who spoke very highly of this company, including that they participate in an excellent LADWP program aimed at improving efficiency. We were very impressed with the level of service and time that we received when Ryan came to our home last Friday. This is a top notch company and Ryan was absolutely fantastic. Eduardo was excellent. He was able to identify the issue and fix it within an hour. Other estimates came out and suggested that we would need a new HVAC system and/or that something about the configuration required it to be ripped out. Nope, just a relatively simple repair and the HVAC is running great. HIGHLY recommended! more

First- I would like to say that I did have one of the nicest technician. I recommend Michael. He was very polite and patient with me especially my frustration with you guys. I know he is only doing his job and suppose to do only what it told, which he did and I commend him for cleaning and changing our next. Plus giving a tutorial with our thermostat since we are beginners. If I was to rate him I’d give him a 5 star but I’m giving you guys a one because I was told something that wasn’t done. I pick you guys to do our LADWP tune up due to your reviewing on here so I decided I call and schedule. Even recommended my neighbors to you which I think I will tell to cancel. When I called, I told them specifically that I had one AC unit and two thermostats and they would be changing both! When the tech finally arrived, he said LADWP only changes one. So I called you guys and you stated you only changed one, I spoke to Nate and said he will go back to check my phone call and see if any conversation was recorded and I said go ahead. When he called back, there were only three phone calls conversations and nothing was heard about giving me two thermostat and I said that was a lie, I spoke to you guys more than three times. I just went to my phone record and saw there was a total of 8 conversations. At the I didn’t argue about giving me another thermostat, since I bought one, all I wanted to do was have the tech install it and I saw the tech install the theirs and it only took him 5 mins! You guys want to charge me 130 for a five min job that you said you were going to give at mo charge! All i wanted was common curiosity and not accuse of lying! more

I am an extremely busy developer with four children. On a 105 degree day my air conditioner decided to not function. I called Service Genius and they came the next day. They replaced my system with a new state of the art, affordable unit within a 3 day period. Their professionalism was unsurpassed and there attention to detail was incredible.
