A few years ago we purchased a RAID system due to the high level of fault tolerance. We had a major surge when lightning hit so close to the building it made our RAID server crash. We tried for hours to get it working again to no avail. We hired Secure Data Recovery Services to do a RAID recovery on our system. Our server downtime was under 3 hours. I was using my iPad in a lounge chair by the pool when all of a sudden a spider landed on me and startled me. I jumped up to quickly and without thinking I threw my iPad in the air and it fell into the pool while I got the spider off of me. I sat back down and looked for my iPad and that???s when I noticed it was at the bottom of the pool. OMG! I got it out and dried it off with a blow dryer hoping it would come back to life. A day later I tried to turn it on and nothing happened. I overnighted it to Secure Data Recovery Services to do a Mac data recovery. They called me when it arrived and I explained what had happened. Just 4 days later I got it back!! Everything worked and the price was not insane either! I hired an exterminator so this would not happen again, well I hope anyways. Thanks everyone! more

The USB & digital media recovery was a great success! 5/1/2012

Photographs are my world. I store everything on my usb drive. I forgot to put it back and in the morning my grandson took it outside and used it as a mini shovel in the dirt. Boy he is quick. He brought it in to me and when I saw it, I just wanted to cry. I brought it over to Secure Data Recovery Services to see what they could do. I went home and was just besides myself. Over 6,000 pictures were on it. Two years of work down the drain. I was shocked when they called and told me they found 98% of my photos! 98%! The USB & digital media recovery was a great success! Efficient, fast and affordable 3/8/2012

My hard drive was going berserk so I went online and bought some program to fix it. Well, what a crock that was, it only made it worse and now many things would not open or said it was corrupted or could not be found. I contacted Secure Data Recovery Services to perform a hard drive recovery and sent my hard drive out to them that day. What is amazing is that my package left on Monday and I got it back on Monday a week later. I hooked up the new hard drive and everything ran like the wind. I had corrupted sectors and a bad Trojan virus that was causing severe damage to the hard drive. Using Secure Data Recovery Services was efficient, fast and affordable and they saved everything for me. You guys are a lifesaver. more

What an amazing company! 2/5/2012

The hard drive in my laptop went bonkers after I dropped it down the stairs. I brought it to Secure Data Recovery Services and hoped they could fix it for me. They did a hard drive data recovery and put all the old information on a new hard drive for me. What an amazing company! The charge was not outrageous and the friendly service was comforting. Many thanks and I will try to hold on to it in the future and not do a balancing act down the stairs! LOL more

This was an emergency and the costs were surprisingly low 1/23/2012

I thought we were invisible when we purchased a RAID 5 a few years back. I found out otherwise when it crashed. To hard drives failed and were corrupted. I searched for a company who did this type of data recovery. 12 phone calls later I found Secured Data Recovery Services. They did a RAID 5 Data Recovery and replaced the hard drives and eliminated the corruption. Their services were professional, ethical and impressive and worth every penny. This was an emergency and the costs were surprisingly low. Honestly I expected to pay much more than I did. I thank you and all is running great. more

The repairs you made were excellent! 11/18/2011

We called Secured Data Recovery Services due to our RAID 5 data recovery crashing. Two disks failed and one was attached to a faulty bus which we then determined happened when we had a major power surge. I came to Secure Data Recovery Services when my RAID 5 suddenly lost 2 of the 3 HDDs and the system did not boot anymore. I tried a rescue operation from the last drive, but screwed it up, and no computer was able to read ANY of the disks. I took it to Secure Data Recovery Services in Sacramento and they restored everything to working order, as if nothing had ever happened. What more can I say? This is the company I recommend if you loose important data and I speak from more then one experience. Oh believe me, data recovery companies can be so annoying to work with. I can't believe Ive been dumb enough to need them three times already, first a few years ago when my laptop wouldnt turn on, then again when my OTHER laptop wouldn't turn on... this time its my external hard drive where i store pictures and music, no computer can read from it anymore. more

In summary, great job to Secure Data Recovery of Sacramento 5/18/2011

I had a hard drive go bad and decided on Secure Data Recovery Services of Sacramento to try recover it. After a week of working with them, I can attest that their service was pretty good overall. They have my official stamp of approval, a very high honor. The end result is they recovered all of my data and had it stored on an identical, but working, drive. They did it in the course of a week. I had a pretty complicated problem, since my drive physically broke down, it's not like it was some software glitch. There was some part inside that literally broke off. I was actually a bit surprised that it was possible to fix at all. What I liked about them is they respond quickly, and always update you, once or twice a day. To me, it kind of gives an impression that they care about me as a customer, as a person whose personal data is in jeapordy, as a person who might never get to see that data again. They kind of understand what a person like me might be going through, and I appreciate that. That's the part that stood out for me, and the reason I gave them a review at all. Everything else about the company was fine, roughly what I expected. In summary, great job to Secure Data Recovery Services of Sacramento and I hope they keep it up, and not relax that policy of keeping the customer in the know. It makes all the difference. more

Funny, slightly embarrassing story. I had an external USB drive that broke on day and I couldn't read anything on it. I had important stuff on it, so I went to see a data recovery company to help me get the data back. I explained what happened to Secure Data Recovery Services of Sacramento, who took a look at the drive and told me they would get to work on it. I just left the parking lot, and already got a call. The representative told me that my particular USB drive usually comes with backup software that automatically syncs every time I connect it to a computer and told me to check when I get back whether I had everything I needed already. Well, surprise surprise! It was all there on my computer already! Secure Data Recovery Services of Sacramento didn't charge me a penny for my silly mistake. I decided to leave a review anyway because it just goes to show that they won't take advantage of your lack of knowledge. Thank you Secure Data Recovery Services of Sacramento! more

If your data is important, I wouldn't go anywhere else 3/31/2011

Once the recovery process & I got my data back I remember it felt so much better knowing the information was now safe and secure, but prior to having the recovery process done I remember my brain racing at the speed of million thoughts per hour, I just couldn't stop thinking WHAT IF? What if I actually did a backup, would this would've happened? What if I can't get the data back, what would I do? and so on..Hard Drive and RAID Data Recovery Services Sacramento recovered all of the data and most importantly my Qicken files which would be just impossible for me to recreate. I had nearly all of my financial information on there along with important tax related documents. The recovery process was complex, but yet simple. After contacting them via telephone I dropped off the hard drive for diagnostics at their location. I got the diagnostic results back the following day and authorized the work to commence. The recovery dragged over a weekend, but overall took about 6 business days after the diagnostics to complete. I must admit, I was really nervous at first and just waited for the phone to ring hoping it will be some good news, so being anxious didn't help the time go by. I did get an email with a list of recovered files directory and a call from an engineer to verify the information once the processed was complete. I have my data back, I made another back up including a DVD backup of the most importing documents and files to insure I've done everything I can to maintain a ""plan b"" type scenario should this happen again. Hard Drive and RAID Data Recovery Services Sacramento did a great job and if it came down to it I would definitely use them again. more

Top of the line business. 5/28/2010

I had a hard drive from my work computer that went bad. My boss left it up to me to try and get the data recovered.
