Went looking for some Shinko tires for my Vmax. (The best tires I have ever had on the bike). Other dealers would not even bother to look for a Shinko distributor but the SCC staff found them quickly and had the tire in the store fast. I wrote a previous review that Seattle Cycle Center wanted to charge me $240 dollars to mount a set of tires not purchased from their store. This amount is twice what I was quoted in November. I was not told of their unusual practice to charge more just because they did not provide the tires before I requested gift cards as a Christmas gift. Doug Micone was unwilling to wave this ridiculous fee but did offer to refund the gift certificates. I appreciate that he's done this but wish that it did not require that I write 23 reviews on various web sites and rally riders from all over for him to offer some semblance of customer service. I will be taking my business elsewhere for now on. I want to thank each and every one of you who called and emailed him to let him know how you felt. I would happily do the same for you if the roles were reversed. Gotta love the power of the internet! more

Hi, I have been a customer of Seattle Cycle for just over a year and have recommended them to ALL of my biker buddies. Almost everyone I have recommended has made it a point to come back to me raving about how great they are. :~) Why do I so highly recommend Seattle Cycle? It comes down to this: hands-down, the best customer service around! Every single time I walk in the store, for anything from bike service to accessories, someone is always right there greeting me and asking what they can do to help. This might not seem like such a big deal, but as a woman biker I have had less-then friendly service from a few too many "bigger" bike shops. The great customer service extends to everyone regardless of gender, age, color; all bikers know that when you go to a bike shop it's an hour trip minimum (getting what you came for, looking at new toys, adding things to the wish list, chatting with other bikers, etc.) and you get to see what the place is made of. This place is made of customer service gold wrapped in a friendly atmosphere!! ...Oh ya, and the prices are great and often better then what I can find online. more

We have a scooter and we got our helmets here. The staff was very helpful and if I remember correctly, we had a return for some reason and they were very accommodating. We got low end, plain old helmets and they weren't expensive at all. Good luck and ride like the wind! more
