NEVER AGAIN 1/24/2011

Unprofessional and returned vehicle in worse condition. \r \r I brought my car in December 2011 to have it repaired. They did the repair but returned it with other broken parts that affected my power brakes. Instead of telling me about the problem, they tried to fix it with glue and left a hose clamp sitting on my battery. The glue failed and I had no power brakes. The second problem was that they improperly reinstalled my transmission linkage clip and left me stranded. I called the manager to make an appt to talk to him. I came in when he said he would be there and of course was told he left for the day. They did pay me back for the part I had to order and fix myself and offered me a $50 gift card for their hack job. I wanted a refund for the 'labor' and they said they can't do that. I paid a premium for something I could have done for half the price! If you're looking for unprofessional service and don't care how your car comes back then go here. I am telling everyone about more

An anchor at Oakland Mall 7/8/2007

This Sears store has been an anchor of Oakland Mall since the beginning. It is a good store. There is always a good selection of any item you may be looking for. The deals on childrens' clothes is endless. I am impressed with the staff as well. They are friendly and efficient. Always a good store. more

Very Helpful Staff 6/13/2005

The staff at this Sears has been very helpful in assisting me finding the right items for me. One of the items was missing parts after I purchased but they replaced it for me quickly and without any problems. more

Great department store for mechanics 6/8/2005

Sears is great for the home mechanic. I generally buy higher quality tools these days for work, but a lot of the tools I have at home are craftsman. I still buy some sockets from Sears, and the staff is more than willing to help me out. But they always seem to be there when I don't need them, and not there when I do. more
