I recently picked up a car from the mechanical repair shop and was very disappointed. I have taken cars here before (2-3 years ago and had good experiences) but now (March 2013) the experience was dismal. I had the car in there for 8 days and they didn't do 2 of the things I asked. I had to call repeatedly to get status updates and they didn't confirm part replacements before doing the job. I felt like I was not treated like a valued customer, ended up paying more than I felt was fair, AND still have to take the car somewhere else so that I can get the two items finished in a timely fashion. Seemed like no one was really paying attention to detail or the customers. I would absolutely not take a car here again. more

Scotties Auto Body 10/20/2009

The folks at Scottie's have been really nice and serviceful. They had our wrecked car there a long time waiting on an insurance settlement, and were really great about it, not trying to charge us or the insurance company more. more

Recommended 3/14/2009

These guys are good and respectful. We took our car to the auto mechanic portion of Scotties. They had the problem diagnosed the same day and fixed by noon the next day. Their diagnosis was right on. The car works great now! We didn't feel talked down to or disrespected like we have at other auto mechanics and we never felt like they were trying to pull anything over on us. If you need to take your car in to get worked on, I recommend Scotties. Pros: honest, quick, and accurate Cons: can't think of any more
