This is the worst experience I have ever had at an eye doctor!!! I am new to the Phoenix area so I looked on my insurance and called an eye doctor on the list. I have worn contacts for 15 years and have had several doctors, but have never had an awful experience like this. Let me give you the laundry list of what is wrong with the Schwartz Laser Eye Center. \r
\r
- I had an appointment at 9:00 am and was not called in to even meet with an assistant until 10:00 am. Who knows when I would have gotten to see the doctor; I didn't wait around after the following happened.\r
Also, others were speaking about there long wait.\r
- When I asked the assistant if this long wait was normal, she responded like I should know that it was ""surgery day"" and that they run behind on ""surgery day"". Well don't make appointments if you know you are going to have people waiting around for an hour. I mean this place has such a lack of respect for people's time.\r
- Then she said ""I will be getting you ready to see one of the doctors"". I asked ""so I am not seeing the doctor I made the appointment with?"" She replies back with ""who did you make the appointment with?"" Talk about feeling like a number.\r
- Then she said we are doing a whole exam for you, including eye dilation. I said I have to go back to work; do I have to do the eye dilation? She said yes, so I just left after wasting an hour. There are several things that were wrong with the eye dilation.\r
1. They should have told me when I made the appointment so I would be prepared.\r
2. I called my previous doctor and asked him about the eye dilation and he said if you don't normally get it done unless you have diabetes or other aliments. I have worn contacts 15 years and have only gotten my eyes dilated twice.\r
\r
When I looked up the Schwartz Laser Eye Center to try to write this review, I realized that they service the Phoenix Suns, Cardinals, etc. I guess if you are not on the team, you are not entitled to good service.\r
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Long Wait, No respect for people's time, Feeling like just another patient
