Thank You Allstars 1/2/2010

Good Afternoon\r \r I wanted to thank you and your trainer drivers for the excellent job they did training Jaron. He had his final lesson on Saturday with Ernesto (his favorite instructor) and went for his drivers license this morning at the Los Gatos DMV. He passed 100% with no errors. \r \r Would highly recommend your company to others and have already referred some of his friends.\r \r Cheers, Lorraine Kilfoyle.\r Pros: Everything Cons: Everything Was Great more

Thank You Allstars 11/15/2009

I really liked Allstars because the instructor was really cool and really nice. But I went with Allstars because they had Honda Civics and I have a Honda Civic. I was afraid i was going to get some clunker car to practice with. But all the cars I used at Allstars were brand new honda civics. I had alot of fun and learned alot. I kind of cheated and drove before I went with Allstars and thought I already knew it all. I was happy to have the lessons though because there was so much I did not know. I would not have passed my test without the lessons. I got a 89 percent on my test! Thank you Allstars! I hope you guys like the five stars I am giving you! Good Job! Pros: New honda Civics Cons: Cant listen to the radio while driving more

Allstars Helped Me Get A 95% On My Drive Test 11/5/2009

I went to Allstars because I heard they were the best ones and my sisters and brothers used them too and all passed drive test with high scores. Allstars seems to really know what the DMV was looking for. In fact, the DMV test even asked me where I took my lessons because they were impressed with how I did everything perfect. I just did what Allstars told me to do and they were right. I got a 95% on my drive test! I could not be happier really. . It really worked out for me in the end because we moved down to Roseville California and Allstars actually had a location there and I was able to complete my lessons in Roseville. As far as I know, i would not have been able to do it with any of the other driving schools because they are usually small What I liked was that they used new cars and that my Instructor was super patient with me. I think it paid off going with one of the bigger driving schools than going to one of the smaller ones. My friend had a terrible experience at another driving school and said the car was old and broke down and the Instructor did not speak English. That is what I liked about Allstars. Their cars were new and clean and the Instructor spoke English. But the only thing I can complain about is that they are really busy because they are so big. So I had to wait two weeks for my first appt. But it was worth it in the end and really did not matter because I had to have my permit for six months before my drive test anyway. \r \r Pros: They are big, new cars, Great Instructors Cons: Because they are popular they are busy more

Great Customer Service 10/31/2009

The reason i am writing a good review for Allstars is because I called today to schedule my sons second lesson and spoke with John and he was very helpful. I expressed to him that I was nervous training my son to drive and he spent 30 min on the phone with me teaching me how to instruct my son. He told me to keep my hand on the hand break and to isolate each thing I am teaching. I felt really comfortable after talking to him and felt like I chose the right school. Allstars was five min late for my son's first lesson, but I figured that it is to be expected while dealing with traffic. As long as they make up the time i do not care. But over all i think i will give them four stars!\r \r Pros: Great Customer SErvice Cons: So Far So Good more

Allstars Gets Five Stars From Me 10/27/2009

Allstars called randomly calls its students and finds out how their lessons went. You see I went with a driving school called Kim Driving School and hated it. The Instructors did not speak english and the cars were dirty and they were running it out of their house. So I had heard good things about Allstars Driving School from my friends at school. Wow what a difference too! I mean they had a central office that was clean and professional looking and new cars and the Instructors had worked there for like 15 years or something. I liked the fact that their Instructors had been there a few times. I guess I had to go to the other driving school to really appreciate the difference because the lady on here who said that Allstars is the worst driving school simply has not seen the others....ha..ha. Well, Allstars called me today and asked how my lessons were. I told them I was pleased and they asked if I would give a review on line here for them. So here it is! Five Stars! PS I got a 95 % on my drive test. Allstars was right that having that last lesson right before my drive test worked. I would of have forgotten everything I learned in six months and was really happy I had that lesson the day before the drive test. Jake Pros: Clean, Professional, Central Office, Nice Instructors more

Allstars Response To Current Complaints Here 10/27/2009

Complaint About Being Late: Allstars is dealing with traffic and people who are learning to drive. We do not instruct the student or the instructor to rush to be on time. It is simply unsafe. But the Instructors always calls if they are running late. \r \r Complaint About Scheduling: The parent obviously did not research Allstars policies before securing our services. Our policy states ""The DMV requires the student to have their permit for 6 months and practice in-between the lesson with the parents. This is why Allstars try's to schedule the first lesson within two weeks so that the permit can be activated and the second lesson two months later and the last lesson left for just before the drive test as a brush up. This policy is on the wall in our office, on the customers receipt and on our recorders. The mother simply did not do her homework. \r \r Complaint: Once again the parent did not read Allstars policy before securing our services. Allstars clearly states in our policy that Allstars does ""piggy backing"". A term that refers to the fact that one students lesson ends at the other students house. This is actually a common and regular business practice for driving schools around the state. But usually the other student is in the car for a total of 10 min. before they are dropped off at home. This is because driving instructors will not drive to in-between students for free and the mother did not want to pay the additional fee to ""block"" off the Instructors schedule. Once again, if the mother would have read our policy before securing our services, she would not have been surprised. \r \r Complaint: One mother states that Allstars answers the phone to get her money and then once we have the customers money that we do not answer it anymore. This is absolutely absurd! How would Allstars possibly know if it was a paying student calling or an already paid student calling? The reality is that Allstars is the largest driving school in Northern California and receives a high volume of calls and answer the calls in the order that we receive them. The computer answers the call and puts the customer on hold with music and even gives the customer the option to leave a msg. It is hardly Allstars fault that the customer does not stay on hold or leave a msg.\r \r Competitors: I read in one of the reviews that our competitor Advantage Driving School was on the front page of the San Jose Mercury news. Apparently one of their instructors was arrested for having sex with their students. It was also alleged that the owner knew about it and did nothing. Allstars Driving School has is proud of it ZERO INCIDENT reports of this kind of behavior after instructing over 1 million student in over 24 years. So the instructor might be a little late because of traffic, but at least you know your student is safe with Allstars and safety is the most important thing to Allstars. Once again, Allstars has a zero incident record in over 20 years which speaks for itself. Allstars appreciates that customers are able to give reviews online. However, often online reviews are: \r \r 1. Competitors going on-line and creating an account and giving themselves 5 stars as bogus students. \r \r 2. Competitors going on as bogus students and giving false reviews on their competitor. \r \r 3. Parents who did not simply read a companies policy before securing the service. \r \r 4. Hit and run statements and revenge because the customer could not bully the company into changing it's policy. \r \r Allstars has serviced over 1 million customers in 24 years. Allstars teaches 40000 students in just one year. During that time, Allstars has an A+ rating with the BBB. This hardly suggests that Allstars is the “worst” driving school. Thank you for choosing Allstars Driving School Pros: Free Teen Drivers Ed Online Cons: Very Busy Because We Popular more

Worst Driving School in History 8/31/2009

This is the worst driving school ever in California, probably in the world. I scheduled a driving appointment with them 2 months in advance, and they cancel it on the day of the appointment. I had to reschedule so many things for this appointment to work out, and they end up cancelling it. Great. Now I have to waste my Labor Day weekend with a driving instructor who probably doesnt even know how to drive properly. Allstars is the absolute worst place to do behind the wheel training, or anything for that matter. I highly recommend everybody to NOT work with them. They are a bunch of fakes who talk nice to you for the first appointment, then treat you like shi* for the rest. They wont even let you use their car for the DMV driving test, when they probably have at least 5. Their instructors are always busy, and probably doing other things while youre supposed to be in a driving appointment with them. This place, in three words: worst place ever. Cons: everything, customer service, not eager to help, expensive. more

Worst driving school- Worst customer service 9/18/2008

This has to be the worst driving school. All of the 3 appointments; they showed up 20 minutes late to pick up my daughter. On the third and last class; the driver was 20 minutes late and had a teenager behind the wheel. I told him to drop off the child first and then come to get my daughter. He never showed up.\r The owner called me to tell me that my daughter couldn't take the class because it was supposed to be a 2 hour class and they wouldn't sign the certificate and that the driver had another appointment at 7pm.\r If the appointment with my daughter was at 5pm how was she supposed to complete 2 hours when #1 the driver is 20 minutes late #2 the driver still had another child driving. Lastly, it is a hassle to book a class with them. They're prompt with the first class and after that they never answer their phones. I had to show up at their office to make the appointment. Very poor customer service. I wish I had never signed up with them. more

Worst experience ever 6/19/2008

I had the worst experience ever with this driving school. On the first day of our instruction, my instructor did not show up for more than a hour and NO ONE contacted me, so I had to personally contact them and ask what was going on. Second, my instructor did not fulfill the 2 hours, but showed up late and barely let me drive for a hour and a half. Thirdly, my instructor did NOT show up for my DMV test date so I was NOT able to take my DMV test. I highly do not recommend signing up for this driving school. more

best driving school any parent could ask for 2/26/2008

and parents, like me, should not settle for anything less...allstars is the best hands down...from the office staff to instructors to free classroom etc. they are an all around fantastic business not many schools can say they give a free classroom program and have a former police officer teach it Pros: shiny clean environment, cars and class highly professional Cons: near downtown...traffic more
