Worst

This place is full of scam and ripping people. Parts are double the price compared to other Toyota dealers. Do not go there they want to make money and very poor customer service....

I brought my inlaws in to Schaumburg Toyota yesterday to talk about trading in their Camry for something that would comfortably fit them, the kids and the grandkids. Couldn't believe how quick and easy the buying process was at Schaumburg Toyota. My two sales reps, Zaya and Jerry, both sprung into action as one rep immediately took my 2012 Camry in for an estimate on trade value, and the other rep softly but effectively walked us through the differences between a Toyota Highlander versus a Toyota Sienna. I was shocked at the level of knowledge each sales rep provided on the differences between the two vehicles and their spot-on input and recommendations as to which features would most benefit my in-laws and their travel demands. After a thorough evaluation of each opportunity, my family decided on a new 2016 Toyota Sienna Limited and couldn't be happier with their decision. Bought a used car from the manager Bill 2/15/2012

We bought a used 2007 Camry recently. The used car manager Bill made the whole experience pain free. Gave us a good trade in price and worked with us on the Camry as well. I would highly recommend Bill. Steve from the service department was also pleasant to work with. The car we bought had many squeaks that they fixed for free. They gave me a loaner while getting my car serviced. more

Excellent Repair Department 1/14/2012

I've been going to Schaumburg Toyota to have my cars (Land Cruiser, Previa, Tacoma, Rav4, Solara) serviced for more than 12 years. I love the late hours (open 'til midnight most evenings) personal service and quality workmanship. My cars have always been reliable due to the fine service I've received at this dealership. While nothing in life is perfect, there have been hiccups now and again -- over all -- I love this place! more

I am very sceptical of car dealers and auto shops, but this one seems to be good and honest. I bought my first car here 9 mos. ago, because it was the first dealer I went to where the price wasn't higher than advertised when I arrived, and the salesman didn't tell my stuff like, ""I'm loosing money on this deal."" I haven't had any problems. more

Liars, Dishonest, dis respectful 10/31/2011

I recently bought a car, they told me to contact if I had any kind of problem with in 3 months.\r It give problems form me with in one week. When I contacted them, they are very rude and dishonest. \r They said not to bother to contact them and do what ever i want.\r They give no value to their customers.\r Don't bother to go to them. I love Schaumburg Toyota 9/21/2011

Since 1989 I have purchased 6 cars from these guys. I have always been treated with respect and have never felt cheated. I send my friends, and I will go back. The store as a whole is looking a little ragged, but I feel it's what is inside that counts. The employees care. I know that quite a few of them have worked there for a long time. That's important to know. I know that when I'm ready to buy again, my saleperson will still be there. Go there, find out for yourself. more

Dishonest Dealer;\r I made a deal over the phone on a used car on Friday. We agreed I would pick it up on Monday. Monday morning I received an e-mail that they had sold the car over the weekend. These people cannot be trusted. Take your business elsewhere. more

Great Dealership 7/29/2010

I have been doing business with Schaumburg Toyota for many years. When I read the reviews online I was appalled, In my experience they do what you ask them to do in a timely manner and at a fair price. They beat the Jiffy Lube price on a full synthetic oil change by $26.00.\r This is also a great place to buy a car. I just bought a 2010 Prius in a quick painless manner. They gave me a great price to boot. This is a 5 star dealership and I recommend them every chance I get.\r Pros: Good People to work with. more

Schaumburg Toyota is dishonest 8/11/2009

My daughter recently purchased a new car from this facility. A dent was discovered on the roof (outside). The saleman promised to fix when it was brought back. The car was returned and the dent was removed no painting of the roof no removal of the scratches. I spoke to a Manager and was told to bring the car back and it would be taken care of. The arrogant Sales person said that he never promised to make the car like new that he wouldn't remove the scatches or do the paint job that's so obviously needed. Never again will I purchase another car from this dealership. more

It sucks 2/13/2008

I went to this dealership because it is very close to where I live. I asked for coolant flush and this guy did drain and fill. When I argued about why they did drain and fill when I asked for a flush ? the service manager said that this is what they do and they do not have any machine like jiffy lube to do flush. He also said that if I do a flush my water pump and other thing might go bad and would need a replacement. I argued but this guy did not budge from his stand. He did this because I had a coupon for $39.99 for coolant flush from some other Toyota dealership and they said that they will honor the coupon. Regular charge for coolant flush is $125. \r \r They cheat customers ? I am not going there any more. I am happy to travel to some 20-30 miles to other dealership for better service.. more

Pay 500 buks at Schaumburg Toyota, keep waiting and be quiet. 8/31/2006

It's a great idea to get yourself a Toyota Corolla, but before you stop by at this dealer think twice. This guys took money, and promissed to get us our dream car max. in 2 weeks. After a week called us the car is comming. One day later: it was unofficialy damaged, we need to wait 1 week longer. After 2 weeks the manager told us:" I won't tell you when the car is comming." I'm glad we went out to shop somwhere else. PROS: nice promises CONS: terrible service more

Spend the money and go to an honest dealership...not this one. 7/20/2006

This place did not hesitate to sell me a total LEMON. I looked at a lot of cars and found a decent deal on a Mazda on their lot. During the test drive, I found something wrong with the steering wheel. The salesman agreed to fix it. He even brought a service guy out who agreed to fix it while I filled out the paperwork. When they pulled the car around, the problem wasn't fixed and they refused to do anything about it. Then, two days later, the check engine light came on, the car stalled and I nearly got killed on the highway. I called the dealership about taking car back and they were basically like, "Tough." They have good (not great) prices, but it's not worth it considering the headache afterwards. Avoid this dealership. PROS: Decent prices. CONS: Virtually everything else. more

Mixed Bag for Sales 11/6/2005

When my mom was looking for a Sequoia, I decided to check out Schaumburg Toyota. On my first visit, the saleman was very good and showed me the car and all the options. My next visit I brought my mom with but the salesman who was helping me the first time was off that day so we went to the cashier to ask for a salesman as no one was to be found in the showroom. After 2 pages, the cashier than paged the new car manager. He wasn't very friendly as he was "bothered" so he got a salesman from the back. We explained to the salesman the situation and after he heard our salesman was another person, he wouldn't help us at all and said we needed to come back when our salesman was working. Then the general manager happened to walk by and was very nice and friendly and told him the situation and was very apologetic for their new car manager and salesman who wouldn't help us and got another salesman to help us. They have good selection but their sales department wasn't very helpful. more

Good Sales and Service 10/16/2005

When my girlfriend was looking for a car, she decided to purchase her Camry from Schaumburg Toyota. They had good pricing but their first salesman wasn't very nice so they had to provide us with another salesman. They had very good selection and the display area was small but nice. The service area was very clean and the waiting area was spacious with TV and magazines. If you are looking for a Toyota, give Schaumbur Toyota a try as it's off of Golf Road. more

Great Car Dealer 7/16/2005

Toyota of Schaumburg is one of the best places to shop for a car. The sales staff are helpful without being pushy. They are very willing to negotiate on price, help with financing, and seem genuinely interested in getting you a car that you are happy with. I have bought one car from here already, and plan on going back again when I need a new one. Their service department is also top-notch, although I have to say that I have only been in for a couple of oil changes and routine check ups. I just haven't had any problems with my car! more
