Alternator service on VW 10/16/2015

They corrected my faulty diagnosis that my battery was draining because of a faulty alternator diode -- so even though I asked them to replace it they tested it out thoroughly and showed it was probably weak / defective battery (1 year old). AutoZone replaced it for free under warranty and problem solved. I also like that I can email them for scheduling, updates etc. Had several cars serviced there over the years. more

Detailing didn't remove paint speckles 10/14/2015

The windshield and front driver side was done but missed the rear window, rear panel and trunk lid. I have another appt. to repaint the bonnet. Time s/b allowed to finish the buffing of the remaining paint spots. RESPONSE FROM Satori's Auto Service: Bill, I apologize that you found some speckling left after the polishing. As you know when we talked in person, the speckling was very hard to come off in certain places. When you come in to take care of the hood we'll do some extra polishing on the areas that you are having issues with. more

Dropped my vehicle off for a rather large job to be done on a Friday of all days, got it done and ready for the weekend. Love that they take the time to tell you about everything and show you the bad parts pulled off. Will continue to use. more

I had satoris install a muffler on my truck wasnt 100 percent satisfied with the sound at first but we descussed my options and they worked with me and im very happy with thier service and drive to make sure thier customer is 100 percent satisfied. They are new to the exhaust buisness but they do excelent job fitting exhaust on your vehicle and do quality welding. Would recomend stopping in and desucusding your exhaust with them. 2007 chevy silverado 1500 flowmaster super 44 duals more

Had my Toyota Tacoma repaired. Pointed out other damage that was not noticed when I first looked at the vehicle. Satori's worked with the insurance company and repaired everything to new condition. Very satisfied. more

Werent able to get the part i wanted 10/7/2015

Went in to have a flowmaster super 10 installed on my truck was initially told that it would be no problem so i set up a appointment 2 days before i got a call saying they couldn't get a super 10 from there destributor so i wound up agreeing on a super 44 they installed it and it sounds almost like stock pretty bummed now i have to spend extra money to get a super 10 and try to install it myself. RESPONSE FROM Satori's Auto Service: I can understand this customer's disappointment. He wanted a loud aggressive sounding exhaust. Unfortunately the muffler he requested is not recommended by Flowmaster for street legal vehicles. The Super 10 Series muffler is recommended for racing applications only. If the requested muffler was installed, there is a good chance a police officer would issue a ticket. As much as we try, we can't please everyone all of the time. Sorry Alex. I would return to Satories again 10/6/2015

There are a lot of auto mechanics that can do brakes, tires, batteries, oil changes, etc. but a select few that can trouble shoot technical problems, and understand the inner workings of automobiles. Satories is one of those, very impressed with their solving of the multiple problems with my car. more

Disappointed as far as them going over my budget! 9/17/2015

Satori’s Auto Service mechanics fixed my car but they didn’t follow the guidelines. There was a problem with my security system that disabled my car, a Mustang convertible, from starting up. They told me it would cost me eight-hundred dollars - so I told them that was the most I could spend, otherwise I would take the car away. Last thing you know, they call me after to tell me they had to do an extra two-hundred dollars worth of work. My credit card, that I had just gotten, would have to go over the limit to pay the repairs. I felt I shouldn’t owe them another dime, since they didn’t keep their word. Now I really wonder if the car only needed two-hundred and fifty dollars worth of work. I didn’t agree to paying more. Where they planning to keep my car for money I don’t have? They gave me a call back telling me they were going to arrange payment for the extra money. However, I strongly feel that they should have an accurate estimate written down. Such inaccuracy put me into debt, raised my blood pressure, and have no idea whether they did the work they were supposed to do. If I knew what they were going to do beforehand, I could’ve taken my car to a storage unit until the summer (I don’t use my Mustang during the winter). I’m very disappointed! RESPONSE FROM Satori's Auto Service: I do feel this customer’s pain and understand the extra cost is why he was disappointed. I also take exception to his comment how we did not stick to our word of how much the repair would cost. The vehicle did not start and the main control module was inoperative and not communicating. We quoted a price and installed a new module. We were then able to communicate with the vehicle which allowed us to check for other faults. This was a job that had more than one part failure which was unfortunate. We immediately called to tell him of the extra cost and he said he could not afford anymore unless we could extend him credit. We told him we would only charge for the extra part, the extra labor (which normally would be $270) was free, and yes we would extend him credit for the extra 198.30. We worked overtime to complete this vehicle, repaired a broken connection at a brake switch at no extra cost so he could drive the vehicle safely, and came in special when we normally are closed to deliver the vehicle. We showed him the parts and explained him the repair. He shook my hand, seemed happy, and said how he appreciated us bending over backwards for him. I am very disappointed he wrote this review after what we did for him though I do understand his disappointment with the extra cost. Sincerely, Greg Satori more
