We just used Santhoff for a slow moving drain. Our AC unit discharge was connected to that drain. Total cost was $605. more

I highly recommend Santhoff Plumbing company, especially for the Bellaire, South Side, West University and Houston area. We had several plumbers come out to give quotes for our job (outdoor shower) and Santhoff was the most reasonable. They went out of their way to work with the City to get a proper permit and followed up after the job to make sure the inspection was clean. They did a great job. I will definitely use them again for any plumbing jobs! more

I was referred to Santhoff by my realtor when we recently purchased this home. She spoke very highly of the company so I thought I would give them a try. I checked them out on the Better Business Bureau's website and see they have an a+ rating with the BBB. That said alot to me!!! more

Great Plumber! 12/13/2010

We called Santhoff Plumbing on Thanksgiving morning for a clogged kitchen drain. A plumber responded within minutes, and before he came out, he gave me the holiday weekend rate, which i appreciated. He arrived within 15 or 20 minutes, repaired the clog quickly, and charged me exactly what he quoted over the phone. He was very experienced, courteous, and professional. We were very impressed with the service we received on a holiday weekend. We have used Santhoff for years, and are never disappointed. more

Great People! 7/14/2010

This is a great company and they know how to treat their clients. I had an issue with my upstairs bathroom and I had someone at my home in less than thirty minutes. I was very surprised to see how fast they respond and how helpful Mac was. Mac took the time to let me know what was wrong and addressed all my concerns. He even took the time to look at my faucets in the bathroom and correct the water flow. Excellent people! Pros: Great customer service and quick to respond. more

Santhoff Plumbing is a top notch family-owned company. All of their plumbers have been very pleasant, competent, and a true delight to have in my home. I appreciate their attention to detail (they even put on booties to keep the carpet clean) and the quality of their work is truly unmatched. I like that the price they quote, is the price you pay instead of paying by the hour! MANUEL AND HIS PARTNER HAVE INSTALLED 2 HANDICAPPED COMMODES FOR ME. THEY WERE HONEST ABOUT MY NEEDS, EFFICIENT, AND TOTALLY CLEANED UP ....EVEN MOPPING THE FLOOR WHEN FINISHED. I CALLED AND REQUESTED THEM WHEN I HAD THE SECOND COMMODE INSTALLED. TODAY THEY ARE INSTALLING A NEW HOT WATER HEATER FOR ME. THEY ARE PATIENT AND RESPECTFUL. I ACTUALLY ENJOY HAVING THEM IN MY HOME. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!2/7/11: today I am adding to my previous review. Max came out when I panicked the day of our bad freeze last week. I had a pipe in my back patio that was spewing out water ..the bac k was flooded...seems, the freeze broke something in the sprinkler system backflow. Max was here within 20 min. of my call..he even called to say he was on his way. He took care of it and then checked my entire outside pipes for me as I am handicapped and unable to do that just now. Absolutly wonderful 6/3/2009

After being stood up by two large plumbing companies, I decided I was going to try a "family run" business. The lady in the office was very knowledgeable, made sure I got the correct plumber for my job and THEY WERE on time! my plumber was just as knowledgeable, he gave me a price before starting, got the issue resolved in a timely manner, was very clean and organized (he actually swept my floor when he was done) and the price was even LESS than quoted!WOW!Then, to top it all off, a couple of days later, I got a calla from Denise again in the office who was just calling to follow up and make sure I was happy. more

Water heater expert 10/9/2008

Early this summer my hot water heater, inconveniently situated in my attic, died. I called 4 plumbers to get ideas and estimates as to what to do about replacing, and of the 4, only Mark at Santhoff Plumbing gave me a reasonable estimate and quick timeline to get a new heater installed. As it turned out, he is a really smart expert plumber who was able to re-route my hot water heater into the utility room. He did the work really fast and he apparently put in a good heater because recently during Hurricane Ike we didn't have power for days but we did have hot water for about 4 days. I'll call Santhoff again. more

Didn't even complete the estimate 4/5/2008

An estimator, Scott, came to our house at the scheduled time and gave us an estimate on everything except one item. He promised to call back with that cost so that we would know a total for the job. He never called back. I called the company to follow up and was told that they would pass the message to Scott. Nothing. We paid $25 for the estimate - guess it was worth it to know that they wouldn't provide customer service. We'll be looking elsewhere for another estimate. Sigh. more

I am in the real estate business, therfore, I encounter multiple plumbing issues on a daily basis. I started using Santhoff over a year ago because the two other companies I was using at the time were lacking experince to assist me with one of my rental properties. Know the plumber who is doing the work. 9/24/2007

Santhoff has been a great plumber and I have been using them since 2002. I have recommended them to many people. This year was not a good year however. They did a hot water heater installation in my attic and put a overflow pan that was smaller than the heater, and they stepped through the ceiling. They did come back and put in a larger pan and sent someone out to do the ceiling repair. more

This company is truly outstanding. They are really on top of things and communication is exceptional. They always seem to go the extra mile to please their customers. Not to mention they are always on time, if not early, the guys always look VERY clean and presentable and the girls in the office know what's going on too! more

Great company; great plumbers 6/6/2007

My mother and I have used Santhoff Plumbing on two occasions and could not have been more pleased with their work. Manuel was highly professional, friendly, took the time to explain what was taking place, and left the premises in the same condition as he found it. If there were a rating higher than ""highly recommended,"" Santhoff Plumbing would get it. All our future business will be with Santhoff Plumbing and we thank the owner for his excellent work. more

    Water closets present the biggest problems for low water consumption. In the early 90s we were introduced to the 1.6 G.P. F. (gallons / flush) water closet. Everyone was displeased with the return. Most of the time you had to flush them twice! Ok, so where are the savings??
