This is my 2nd CPO SM BMW purchase - what can you offer me if I come back again in the future for my 3rd? *After taking ownership Alfredo Medino told me he was new to SMBMW and still learning. The dealership has a terrible reputation on the internet but it was my wonderful sales person that really worked out a deal for me that changed my mind. He is a strong asset. I had been there before and never really got much attention from the others. more

I will say that this Santa Monica BMW was much better than the one on Santa Monica Blvd and Sawtelle which is where I bought my first BMW. That other one was full of very unsavory people who were inappropriate when I'd come in for service with the car I had bought there. So given how awful the other dealer is, the one I just dealt with was a dream. I liked my sales guy Adam much better than the Toyota guys where I bought my Prius 2 years ago. more

Great buying(leasing) experience from Santa Monica BMW. Much better than what I experienced at another BMW dealership back in 2006 when we bought our other vehicle. Hans Dakhlia did a great job during the whole process of leasing the vehicle, from the initial phone conversation to the delivery of the vehicle. more

Do whatever it takes to keep Michael Fernandes! He's the best car salesperson I've ever interacted with. He understands both cars and people and knows that creating a relationship is what sells the car. Michael Fernandes is the perfect Sales Advisor. He's knowledgeable and a great communicator. Very service oriented. He made the whole experience a pleasure! Everyone I interacted with genuinely seemed to want to help me get the car I'd be happy with. The most pleasant experience I had since I own a BMW. My car was due to service so I took it to SMBMW and I was amazed by the courtesy and professionalism with which I was treated. My service advisor Matthias (call him the Austrian) took care of me and my car, that gave me the feeling I belong to his family. He explained to me in a manner so I could actually understand what was wrong with my BMW and what needs to be fixed. He was efficient and courteous in a way that made a miserable morning, into a pleasant experience. This guy is something else!!! When it comes to cars, I would say there is nothing he doesn't know about them and !!!!! he has an understanding, that you don't have the best time when you have to take your beamer to the garage. He even mastered to explain the problem that I had in terms I could understand. My car was finished right on time, as promised and clean. I got walked to the cashier by the "Austrian" and I felt really comfortable to be in the presence of this gentleman. This is a total different SMBMW as experienced in previous visits. If you ever have to go to a BMW dealership I can only recommend to visit SMBMW and make sure you ask for Matthias or the "Austrian" when you make your appointment. You will be amazed I can assure you. Just as I was leaving I remembered I want to pair my Bluetooth Mobil with my beamer, which is not always the easiest procedure, Matthias observed that I was somehow struggling so he came out to the sidewalk asked if I needed some assistance and did the whole procedure for me at no cost plus he explained to me how to do this so that I am now able to do it myself should I ever have to. As I offered him a tip he declined with a smile and the words "no need for that, a thank you is more than enough" Go there ask for Matthias and your day will be this little bit more

Santa Monica BMW is not the best place to purchase your BMW. It is obviously higher priced all around just because it's in Santa Monica. Service there is good and reliable, and the cars are BMW's just like any other BMW, but it's the price that really matters and that could stand to be lower. I would go somewhere if you could to get a better deal. more
