what a joke. under handed business. use caution if you have to deal with this company. they have been tagged by lawyers already. the whole family is sneaky. a blemish on the face of other wise beautiful slo. every time i drive past i hope that place will close their unwanted doors for good. oh well, they will get theirs. they say karma is a ........... i hope san luis property management tries to rip off the wrong people and get what they deserve. i really hope this helps all you guys out there, i feel a lot better now. so i will just say yes it maybe cheaper but you get what you pay for, plus any thing else they can get out of you. p.s. what a waste of my time! avoid avoid avoid!! unless your uncle is a lawyer. money making schemes san luis property management more

I have been a tenant in San Luis Obispo for many many years. I have worked with a lot of different property management companies and I have to say that by far, San Luis Property Management is the best!!! They have always worked with me with a lot of difficult personal situations. They have treated me with respect unlike some of the other management companies in town. They gave me a nice place to live when I first came to town as a young student. When I locked myself out of my apartment on a Sunday, they came down to the office, on their day off and got an extra key for me. After my first year I rented from several different management companies. This past year I came back to San Luis Management Company because my experiences with them have always been so positive. We showed up in SLO late Friday afternoon. It was almost 5:00 P.M. We had our Uhaul packed and had spent all day driving up from San Diego. Two ""studly dudes"" ready to start what we thought would be a great first experience away from home. We had rented a house from a different rental co. When we showed up at their office they said our house wasn't available!!!!! What a load of sh_t! The old tenants were still in OUR house and hadn't moved out. But what really pis s _ d us off was that the rental company didn't bother to call us. How much effort would it have taken??? So we had no place to live, no place to go and it was late Friday night. We were driving down Broad Street and just happened to see the sign for San Luis Property Management, so we thought we'd go in. Michele was the only one there. Everyone else had left for the weekend. When she heard our story, she said she would stay until she found us a place to live. She took us to a GREAT place really close to Poly. It was better then the other house we thought we were getting. We could ride our bikes to campus. She didn't even know us, but she gave us the keys and let us move in. She said ""let's get together and do the paperwork on Monday"". It was very, very cool. So, we've been here for over 2 years now. Me and my friend both graduated this year and we're moving out. I'll be sorry to go. She helped us enjoy our stay here. They are all thiefs, even the broker, this is a tricky business. Avoid. They do not run credit on tenants!!, they have been tagged by lawyers already. Avoid. more
