The last straw was when I had tests run and the office called my home phone (although I specifically said to call my cell since I work) and asked me to call back to discuss the results. I called back and got voicemail. Three days and two follow-up calls from me later... I still had not spoken to a live person and did not know what my results meant. I then sent a message through their online system... no response two days later.\r \r I just cancelled my follow-up appointment and will be collecting my medical records to take to another doctor. I like Dr. Blackwell, but I think very little of his support staff. more

Don't risk your health. 9/23/2012

Jenny W go to google and type in Peak Family Medicine in Apex they theme about them more adheres to my and hardly's comments. The office staff is rude and their office manager is in the wrong profession. John is the only thing I can say is good about Peak. more

BEWARE OF FRONT DESK STAFF 4/4/2012

The front desk staff is very i mean very unprofessional. They are very rude and disrespectful. I would not recommend anyone to go to this office to recieve care. Who wants to go to an office where when you walk thru the front door all you feel is negativity. The front desk staff are the first people that everyone sees and they should be very warm and welcoming. Not cold! more

Outstanding Doctor and Staff 3/9/2012

I can't disagree more with Kev27!! I think Kev just had a bad day... :( Peak Family Medicine has been my doctor office for over 3 years and I am in quite a bit between my four kids, huband,and myself. They are always friendly and helpful and have always provided the best care. I see Katie, their P.A., and she is wonderful! My kids see Jon, their N.P. and he is great with kids and never even gets flustered with my daughter who cries when a needle is even in the same room. My husband sees Dr. Blackwell who is patient and very knowledgeable. My family and I would never go anywhere else! more

Should be investigated. 11/27/2011

The office staff is disorganized and the office manager is dismissive and rude. They commit fraud by mis-coding patient visits so they can make more money. Dr. Blackwell is never in the office or available to speak to you. If you want to go to a doctor that cares more about you and the patient relationship rather than money, then Peak Family is not your office. more
