I am from West Virginia, I broke down on I-40 East in Tennessee just outside of Knoxville last night. I got in touch with my insurance company (Geico) for roadside assistance, and they called Sam's Wrecker service to come and tow me to the Firestone shop. Sam Luttrell the owner himself came in just a short time to tow us in, since the Firestone shop was already closed he offered to tow us to his place and said they would be able to get on it first thing in the morning. This would have been fine even with the cost of repairs, but We needed to get back to West Virginia last night as my father in law had been put in ICU and my wife had to be at work by 8:30 this morning. He called a friend for me and asked him if I could use his place to work on it if I was able to get the parts. He told him yes and so he towed me there, and the people there even went and got the parts for me that I needed, and told me I could use any tools I needed too! Sam was very courteous and acommadating, people do not realize what service people that own their own small business have to go through to please others and just to be able to stay in business. Their costs are a lot higher than big businesses and under a lot more scrutiny from the public, so be kind and try to understand where they are coming from the next time you just want to put them or their service down. Most like Sam are just trying to put food on their table like you and I are, and not trying to get rich off of others!! Thanks again Sam, for the great service that you provided me!!
