I called to inquire about a 73" projection HD tv and Joe Samman was very helpful. By the time we were all done, I purchased the TV, and Denon AVR, Center Speaker, Blu Ray Disc and some cables. Whe I had a problem setting up the Denon AVR, Denon customer service was great, but one of the problems they could not resolve and advised me to ship it back for service. I called Joe and told him about the humming in the speakers. He reccommened a different surge protector and that resolved the problems. i doubt I would get that service at Best Buy. BTW, I never went to the store, everything was done over the phone. more

I bought a car stereo from them and they offered to install it as well. I agreed since I had no idea how to do it. I picked the car up in an hour and there were so many scratches in my dashboard it wasnt funny. The stereo was even taped with electrical tape in some areas. When I told them they had to fix the scratches, they denied doing anything wrong. I will NEVER buy anything from them again. more

A few years ago, my mom and I went in to buy a simple old VHS VCR. It had a reasonable price sticker on it. When we showed the VCR to the sales clerk, he said that the price sticker on it was incorrect and tried to sell it to us at a higher price! Then, he had the nerve to be pushy to us about buying it!\r \r I understand the appeal of trying to support your local businesses. However, you should find another local electronics business with integrity!!! more

I didn't like their prices or the way I was treated. After reading a couple of reviews I am glad I stayed away.\r \r I browsed several times and the same older man was pushy. I explained I was fine and would tell him if I needed assistance. He never left my side.\r \r Too pushy and glad I never bought from them. more

Sammans will compete with the big box stores and provides excellent products and prices. be prepared to go in and negotiate. They have a full line of any appliance you could ever need. more

I, like most of us have shoped at the giant stores like Best Buy or Circuit City. Sometimes I've had to wait for a salesman, and then find out he or she doesn't know too much about the equipment I'm interested in. At Sammans, I've found that I never have to wait, and the folks there seem very well informed about all the sets. They always have the newest technology and never have the older models. They have always taken time with me and never push me for a sale. If I inquire about the price they will always lower it for me as much as they can. I'm in the process of purchasing a full system of TV, receiver and BluRay, so i will be going to Sammans once again. At least I know I can trust them to do the right thing as far as price, service and equipment! more

I have personally been dealing witht Sammans Electronics for over 20 years. They have always been professional, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with - their prices are the best!!! more

I bought a very expensive LCD 40" tv from the Wayne Sammans' store. The old man who owns the place came out to help me with a specific model I was looking for. (Needed a replacement set for the Super Bowl.)\r \r He was very friendly and seemingly helpful. He told me he had only one model left- the store was closing and I thought it better to go to bigger chain, ie Best Buy. But he told me that the tv set was perfect and that he would knock an additional $100 from a $2000 tv because "I looked like a good guy".\r \r The old man seemed honest enough so I decided to purchase it. When paying, the woman at the counter was very rude and didn't answer any of my questions about returns and policy until after my credit card went through.\r \r Then she threw my card on the counter and she muttered that there were none and all sales are final. the big box stores have driven me back to the local stores of which this is one. Not the best at displaying their merchandise too many items for the limited space they have available. Their employees are knowedgeable about the products they carry and there are times that their prices are negotiable. more
