Dr. Scolaro is incredible. He was my doctor from ages 15 to 23, and when I moved out of the area, it was hard to find another doctor who compared. He is thorough, and never gives up until he gets an answer for you.
I had a lot of different medical issues that he helped me resolve to the best of his ability. At one point, I was without health coverage, and he was kind enough to give me a month's 'sample' of my medication, which, at the time, was about $5 per pill with no generic. He even wrote the prescription for a ten day supply with x number of refills so I could fill it for $50 every ten days instead of $150 each month, which wasn't always possible for me to come up with working part-time.
He always remembered my name and the reason I was there AND my medical history. Whether he took the time to look at my chart before he came into the room or he actually remembers his patients was kind of unimportant to me, because my new doctor has suggested the same wrong diagnosis to me the past three visits. Even after testing me for it. So to have a doctor that at least looks at your chart to remember why you're there is a wonderful thing.
You cannot go wrong with this man managing your health care.
