Editorial review from Citysearch 1/30/2013

I would recommend them to all my friends and family, they are very affordable, which is great, but they are also one of the best veterinary clinics I have ever encountered. The veterinarian goes above and beyond to ensure all his clients are taken care of at the time of, but most importantly, after surgery. My dog is the love of my life and I was nervous about getting her spayed. She's pretty old to be getting spayed, and after discussing her procedure with the very knowledgeable technician who checked me in, I also decided to have a dental done at the same time. I called 4 times before noon just to see how she was doing. Not only were the techs very patient with me every time I called, but they were insistent that it was their number one priority to ensure that my animal was taken care of and so was my state of mind. When I came to pick her up she acted as if nothing had happened, despite losing quite a few teeth and being spayed, and the girl who helped me, also filled me in on all the ways that my dog is wonderful (and she is), like she was talking about her own animal. 3 days after, when I got nervous and just wanted to make sure she was ok, they immediately got me in for a recheck appointment, and even though she was fine, it was no charge. They charged me less for a dog spay, blood work, and full teeth cleaning with medications, then most clinics charge for just an animal to be spayed, and offered the best care and service I have ever received from a vet clinic period. more

Poor Service, do NOT trust the price they PROMISE in person 4/27/2012

Called & ask for pricing & I was told that since my dog was over 3 years of age she was free but need to pay $35 fluid flush. This was also the price I was told when we dropped her off....$35.00...then they said we recommend to do blood work for dogs over 3 years of age.........Now: $70.00 thought that was a great deal & we agreed.....Then we go to pick her up & up they charge me $145.00 with a hidden $65.00 dollar fee for the procedure. I informed them that I was told on the phone and also in person once dropped off it was free for animals over 3 years of age. Pros: null Cons: null more

Excellent with rabbits 9/3/2011

Took my female rabbit in to be spayed. This was the only spay and neuter clinic I've seen that made themselves available on the phone. The pricing was very affordable..especially for rabbits who usually cost quite a bit. I received a reminder phone call before my appointment, complete with species savvy instructions to not withhold feed or water for rabbits before surgery. During surgery, they even trimmed her teeth and nails, and afterwards, they provided me with one of the recommended pain medications for rabbits. The staff was polite and informative at all times. I will definitely be taking my male rabbit here to be neutered when he is old enough. Couldn't be happier. more

Best vet in the state! 3/24/2011

I own 4 dogs and a cat. I have seen many vets in the valley. None that can compare to Dr. Daines prices. Thank you for making it affordable to keep my animals healthy. more

Professional, Caring Service 8/16/2010

I had the best experience with the Spay and Neuter of SLC. I am a first-time dog owner, so I was a little nervous myself getting my puppy spayed (and her dew-claws removed). It was a busy little office when I took her early in the morning to drop her off, and felt a little self-conscience because all the other owners there looked like they knew what they were doing. Once I was helped, though, I felt completely comfortable and they walked me through everything I needed to do and to know. more

Great Place! Hot front desk girl too! 3/26/2010

They took good care of my puppy when she got spayed. They even clipped her nails no charge. One of the front desk girls is super hot too. more

A great place for a needed service 12/16/2009

I just got my 6-month-old kitten back today from her spay surgery there, and am impressed with the services they provide at the clinic. They were friendly and calm with giving instructions and answering questions, and dealt with each animal with individual concern, even though the clinic was quite busy when I went in. Pros: Caring, efficient, affordable, friendly Cons: Busy (but that could be a good sign, right?) more

Efficient, affordable, compassionate 10/27/2009

I have taken many cats and dogs here to be spayed or neutered and have always been satisfied with the level of friendly, compassionate service. The prices are the lowest I've found, and you can rest assured that your pets are in good, experienced hands. My last puppy had a mild reaction to the anesthetic and I called panicking and the staff was patient and compassionate towards me and said I could bring her in if she didn't improve within a few hours. She did improve quickly and I didn't need to take her in. They offer you the option of purchasing pain medication for your pets if you would like to. It's a very needed and appreciated quality service provided. They do get busy so sometimes so you may have to wait a week or two to get in, but that is to be expected as these services are highly in demand. Other times there is no wait and you can bring your pet in the very next day. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone needing a spay or neuter. Pros: Spay/Neuter is affordable Cons: None more

Great for TNR! Low cost spay/neuter 1/8/2009

I've been taking feral cats here for TNR (Trap Neuter Return). Their low cost makes it possible. Pros: Low cost, quick, good work, open every other Saturday, passion for animals Cons: friendly, busy, rushed more
