I scheduled an appointment with this salon last month and I was very taken back by the snobby and stuck up attitudes here, not only with the girls that work here but with the management. I felt that this salon had a large ego for absolutely no reason, their services were terrible, the second you walk in the door you meet 4 different people that do your hair it was very confusing and having so many people work on me did not save time in anyway for me at least. I arrived at noon and didn't leave until four, i was late for a meeting at my work because of this and when i tried to explain the rush i was in i was talked about by several girls like i was wrong for having somewhere to be. Completely unprofessional business. The owners need to get off of their high horse and learn how to treat people, just because you run a salon doesn't mean you are better than anyone else. \r \r I'll be taking my services to metropolis! goodbye sv. more

This is the best salon I have ever been to...bar none!! The salon is beautiful, very well run, staff is professional and friendly and a pleasure to visit. George, the professional colorist is excellent!! He listens to what you want and does a beautiful job of coloring. My hair is very fragile and I have had some bad experiences at salons before so I was a little nervous going in. George put me right at ease and my hair color is the best it has ever been. He also does an amazing job of styling my hair as well...without all the curling irons and using only a brush and hair dryer. I m so pleased and love this place!! more

I had been struggling with my haircolor for years when a friend suggested I go see Jessica at Salon Visage. I made my appointment and arrived at the downtown west location. The entire staff were so friendly and helpful. Jessica consulted with me regarding my hair color. We discussed my eye color and skin coloring. I felt so comfortable that I ask Jessica to do what she thought was best. And she did!!! My hair looks great. The color is perfect for me. She colored my gray and I now have the color of my youth (with hightlights and lowlights). My hair looks better than it has in years. I also appreciate that each time I go my color stays consistant. I'm what you might call a ""late bloomer."" I didn't really get in to going to a salon until I had graduated college and was entering graduate school. With a desire to reinvent myself and the help a super-chic friend, I made my way to an Aveda salon. I was spoiled by the treatment I received and how professional all the employees were. When I moved to Knoxville, the first thing I did was find another Aveda salon. I first went to the West Town Mall. Well, I was not impressed with the employees or the services especially at their cost, so I did not return. I went almost two years before I tried another Aveda salon again. I went a few times, but it just never felt right. It seemed that every time I went in, they couldn't find my information or the way it was cut the last time, despite the fact that the same woman cut my hair each time! Needless to say, I was disappointed especially after having had such remarkable Aveda service before. My husband gave me a gift certificate for spa services this Easter, so I set my appointment for a massage with Spa Visage. The massage was great, and I'd recommend Brennan to anyone! I wanted to get my hair done also, and my Aveda stylist was booked, so I went out on a limb and scheduled services with Salon Visage. Let me tell you, the first experience was fantastic. This salon has everything you expect and then some. I went in desperately needing some pampering, and after the massage, I didn't think it could get much better, but it totally did! First, I met with my stylist, Taylor, for a consultation. I brought in a picture of something I liked, and Taylor took those elements and gave me a stylish cut that has done wonders for my appearance. It takes a lot of guts to let someone you just met cut 9 inches off your hair, but Taylor was incredibly professional with her consultation, and the confidence she had in her ability to turn my frumpy locks into a fantastic coif was exactly what I needed to trust her. I also met with Dylan for color, and this was the best color I've ever had, hands down. I've also received many compliments on my color from other colorists. Since my first visit, I've been back a second time over last weekend, and I can definitely see myself becoming a 6-week regular. For those of you who want a stylist you can trust and who will remember you from one visit to the next, I would definitely recommend Salon Visage. For those of you who need pampering to stay looking professional and stylish, I would 100% recommend Salon Visage. For the woman who wants to stay stylish on a budget, I will say that I live VERY frugally, and I can still afford to come in for a cut and color every 6 weeks. You have to make YOU a priority, and Salon Visage will take care of the pampering. The wonderful treatment and services at Salon Visage is matched by the products they sell. At other salons, I've felt like the stylists were part-time car salesmen with how hard they pushed complicated products. As a low-maintenance kind of person, I never saw the benefit of paying an arm and a leg to ADD time to my daily routine. Well, the professionals at Salon Visage only recommend products they are actually using on your hair, and they take the time to show you how to use them. The products at Salon Visage are competitively priced, but they're simple, which is what I love most. As of my last visit, I purchased the entire line of Bare Escentuals makeup that the artists at Salon Visage use for their complimentary make up services, and I love my skin and how simple it is for me to do my makeup now! So, for those of you who've been complementing my haircut and makeup lately, it's all due to the Visage group! A group of four girlfriends met for an hour massage. We all enjoyed ourselves. I received my massage from ADDIE, she was wonderful & funny too. I enjoyed the extra attention to my neck area. Afterwards we were treated to a complimentary make-up application using Bare Escentuals. I was surprised & pleased they sold these products because I have used them for nearly eleven years & had just thought to myself I need a summertime look. I was able to purchase my products plus was given some free samples...LOVE IT! We will be back soon. I am looking forward to the ""ultimate massage package"" which ADDIE told me about-a foot soak followed by a full-body massage utilizing hot towels for the entire body. AHHH....pamper yourself, it was a wonderful gift to myself. more

LOVE SALON VISAGE I think it's really important to find a hair stylist you are comfortable with. I totally recommend SEANA for hair color and extensions (if you dare try them!). She listened to me and helped me create a look for my wedding that was perfect. My only regret was that I did not discover her sooner! For hair cut- I recommend JEREMY! --Not just a fun guy, but really teaches as he goes so you can replicate his techniques and style yourself like a pro after you leave! I have been a client of Salon Visage for several years. Josh has been my stylist for over five years. I am very picky and very particular about my hair. Josh always does a wonderful job with my hair!! I have ventured off and went to other stylists in order to ""save money"", but ended up wishing I would have spent that extra dollar and went to Josh. I have natural curly hair, I straighten daily, that tends to be unruly at times. Josh never fails to cut and style my hair beautifully and he knows exactly what to do to my hair to make it look and style it's best. Josh is a senior stylist and he is always up on the new, trendy styles. He will not do anything to your hair that he feels would not look amazing! I highly recommend Josh and strongly feel that if you let him cut and style your hair, you will continue to go back every time! more

I am and always have been very picky about my hair so when I find a good stylist, I always stick with them. I moved back into town about 2 years ago and had heard good things about Salon Visage so I decided to give it a shot. I was set up with Christian and haven't looked back since! Christian is very professional and very pleasent to talk to. He makes sure to tell me what he's doing and how he is doing it, always asking my opinion before continuing (which puts me at ease). I called to set up appointments to use Salon Visage for my wedding day (i.e. for me and my bridesmaids). The coordinator told me that she would call me back that afternoon. I called back finally after having heard nothing for a week, and was told that they had just simply not called (for whatever reason). Then they told me that the stylist I was scheduled with could either get me at 9 AM or 3 pm for a 5 pm wedding. I was confused why I was ever told that they could work within my 11 am- 2 pm window. Poor customer service and overpriced compared to Belleza. Go there instead for wedding purposes. Pros: good location Cons: poor customer service more

My first brazilian wax. Elizabeth was very professional and put me at ease...she even laughed at my jokes that were about myself, lol. Though some hair was left in little patches, it was my choice not to have each individual hair left by the waxing tweezed, as mine is a gradual process for summer. I was very pleased with my service. Even though it was a little painful, she didn't lie and tell me it wasn't going to be. I am going back for a maintenence wax today and I know exactly what to expect bc Elizabeth was honest. I don't normally like to wear my hair curly in public. The curl is uneven and my hair is somewhat flat on the top, and curly on the ends. So, I normally wear my hair in a sleeker more polished look for work. But sometimes I find myself running late, and I have discovered with this latest cut, that she cut it in such a way that it looks professional and tailored when it's curly as well. So now, I use a flat iron and wear it straight, or use a roll brush to flip it out, or just let it go curly with minimal drying effort! I love the versatility! Thanks, Claudia! I first went to Spa Visage for a facial in November 2008. The esthetician was very friendly and did a lovely job. I left totally relaxed. By the way, I was very impressed that even though she gave me a list of suggested products for my skin, I was never pressured into purchasing anything. I went back the next week to have a manicure and a set of acrylics done, with the intention of having them refilled the day before my wedding and getting pedicures with my bridesmaids. The girl was very friendly, so I didn't mind when she had to take off half of the nails and redo them. I figured it was just one of those days for her, it happens. On the drive home, I noticed that the acrylic on my thumb was peeling up. Within a couple of hours, all of my nails were coming off. I have friends who do nails, and they said that it was likely the girl simply didn't wipe the oils from the manicure off enough, so the acrylic didn't adhere well. I was annoyed, but again, mistakes happen. I called the spa and asked to speak to management. I explained what happened and was told that I was probably being too rough with them. Wait, what? I hadn't done a thing other than drive home and sit on the couch! Eventually she told me that I could come back in and they would soak them off for free, but I would have to pay if I wanted to have them put back on. Seriously? It's not like I asked for my money back, but I do think they should have been willing to do the service correctly! Needless to say, I refuse to return for anything at this point, and have found a much nicer place to have my nails done. I haven't been to Salon Visage since 2007, as I now live in Nashville, TN and don't get to make it to Knoxville very often. I only came back in today because I have tried other salons in Nashville and have yet to find anything that I liked. Most are too expensive or too unreliable, and at times, a combination of both. With Salon Visage, I know I won't have to worry about how my hair will look when I leave whereas I have had to in the past at other salons. imagine this: it's the day before your wedding. you can't wait to get your hair done for your rehersal, but your colorist takes a couple hours longer than he's supposed to in coloring your hair. amid all the stress of pre wedding situations, you begin to worry you'll be late, you being to cry. after you finally decide you'll be okay, you're told they can't get you to see your hair stylist because your colorist took too long and they dont' want to accomodate you. suddenly, everything that happens from calling your mom to tell her you don't think you'd like to return to this salon to asking them what can be done to help you make it on time [such as make up and waxing] will not be done and that all you can do is hang on to the card they gave you for a free treatment, when you ask if it's plausible that the card be applied to the $50 make up fee- you're told to give the card back. I have been going to Leslie and Kendra for a while now to get my hair cut and colored. They do an awesome job. I have never once had a problem. Everyone there is so friendly and the atmosphere is really cool. I've also been to the spa where i had a massage, facial, and manicure, and pedicure with lunch. What a treat! I left there feeling soo relaxed and better than ever. I will continue to go there for as long as I live in Knoxville. Everyone always asks where I get my hair done. And I love it! more

I was very disappointed with my haircut. My hair would not lay down and it looked awful. Service is marginal, and prices are high considering the services. They are very impersonal. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. more

I went to Salon visage west. I have used the same hair stylist for about 5 years and I have been kind of bored with what she's been doing to my hair, so I thought I'd try Salon Visage. They have stylists that charge around $35 and then up to like $65. I thought it was money well spent. Everybody there was very friendly, the atmosphere is really cool, and the products I bought were actually great. I have spent alot of money on products before only to go home and think they are horrible. The stylist that cut my hair did the perfect cut for my face shape. I will definitely go back.
